Cheese Preference
The Realm Ripper can be attracted by Ancient Cheese, Moon Cheese, and Radioactive Blue Cheese.
Hunting Strategy
Arcane traps are very effective against the Realm Ripper. Forgotten and Shadow traps are of normal effectiveness.
The Realm Ripper's availability depends on the status of Forbidden Grove:
- While the Forbidden Grove is Closed, the Realm Ripper is the only mouse the Hunter can attract here.
- While the Forbidden Grove is Open, the Realm Ripper is not in the attraction pool unless the Hunter arms Realm Ripper Charm. Doing so will add the Realm Ripper and remove all other mice from the attraction pool.
Catching a Realm Ripper in Forbidden Grove will transfer the Hunter to Acolyte Realm.
History and Trivia
- 21 September 2011: The Realm Ripper was released with the stabilization of the opening and closing of the gates to the Acolyte Realm.
- 25 January 2011: The Realm Ripper began to drop Divine Orb as loot.
- 23 August 2011: The Realm Ripper began to drop Warp Nail as loot when working on a Zurreal Trap Research Assignment.
- 29 August 2012: The Realm Ripper began to drop Ancient Relic as loot.
- 31 May 2017: The Realm Ripper Charm was introduced, making it possible to catch a Realm Ripper without having to wait for the Forbidden Grove to close.
