Hunting Team
A Hunting Team consists of one captain and up to seven other members (not including the captain). To join a team, hunters can either form their own team or join an existing team.

Forming a team
To form a team, hunters should click on the Hunting Team within the dropdown menu under the friends navigation button at the top of the game. They will then be able to name their team and write an optional team motto and description. Once the team has been created, friends can be invited to join it. The hunter that creates a team will be the captain, who is signified by a small yellow crown on the bottom right of his/her profile picture shown on the Team Profile page.
A brand new team can have at most 5 members, including the captain. To unlock additional slots and bring the team up to 8 members, the team must complete the following tasks, after which the team captain must unlock the slot:
- Complete 10 tournaments (no minimum placement).
- Obtain 10 Participant badges (place 50% or better)
- Obtain 10 Competitor badges (place 25% or better)
Ranking as a competitor advances progress towards all three slots at once.
Joining an existing team
To join an existing team, hunters have to be invited by the captain of that team. A notification will appear at the top of the game allowing hunters to choose whether to accept or decline the invitation.
Team Journal
Once a team is formed, each member of the team can view the Team Journal, which shows the last four private Hunter's Journal entries for each team member. This includes things like misses, which can help in tracking whether team members are in sync during a Tournament. It is not possible to view another team's journal.
Leaving or disbanding a team
To leave a team, hunters should click on the "Leave Team" button located on the Team Profile Page. Alternatively, the captain may also choose to kick a hunter via the "Edit Hunting Team" page. If the captain wishes to leave the team, he/she can click on the "Disband" button on the same page. It is advised to claim any unclaimed Tournament Rewards before leaving or disbanding the team.
