The Phalanx Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the King's Gauntlet: Tier 3, as a member of the Melee Tier. It is known to drop the Gauntlet Potion Tier 4 as loot.

| Although they are skilled jousters, Phalanx mice prefer to live by the old idiom: ‘Better safe than sorry’. Covered in a suit of armor that weighs more than they do, they can often spring a trap just by stomping on the ground nearby. One of their favorite strategies when confronting a particularly stubborn trap is to curl up under their shield and let the arm of the trap bend around it, before grabbing the cheese with their lance. | |||

Preferred Cheese
The Phalanx Mouse has been found to be especially attracted to Gauntlet Cheese Tier 3, to the point that any other kind of cheese will simply not suffice.
Hunting Strategy
Tactical traps are very effective against the Phalanx Mouse.
Most other power types, including Parental, are less effective. Law and Rift traps are ineffective.

- 8 June 2010: The Phalanx Mouse was released with the introduction of the King's Gauntlet as part of the MouseHunt v3.0 update.
- 12 June 2010: The King granted permission to use the Gauntlet Potion Tier 3, allowing Hunters to access the Phalanx Mouse.
