Acquiring a Halloween Treasure Map 2012/2013
These maps cannot be cashed out if they have been started but remain uncompleted at the end of the event.
- 2012
- The Swamp Thang Mouse dropped Hallowe'en Scroll Cases during the Halloween 2012 event. At the end of the event, any scroll cases remaining in a Hunter's inventory were converted to Treasure Map Scroll Cases.
- 2013
- The Treat Mouse dropped Halloween Scroll Cases during the Halloween 2013 event. At the end of the event, any unopened scroll cases remained in the Hunter's inventory. In 2014, these scroll cases were renamed 2012 Halloween Scroll Case.
Mice found on a Halloween Treasure Map 2012/2013
In 2012 and 2013, these maps contained 10 mice found in the Haunted Terrortories (2010-2013).
Hunters with 2012 Halloween Scroll Cases in their inventory were able to open and complete the enclosed maps during the Halloween 2014 event. These maps continue to reward 2012 Halloween Treasure Chests upon completion.
Treasure Chests
Chests earned during the Halloween 2012 and Halloween 2013 events were simply called Halloween Treasure Chests and Rare Halloween Treasure Chests. In 2014, any such chests in Hunter inventories were renamed as 2012 Halloween Treasure Chests and Rare 2012 Halloween Treasure Chests.
Guaranteed Items
These items are found in each 2012 Halloween Treasure Chest.
Gold and Points increase with the Hunter's rank and are awarded based on the rank held when the chest is opened.
Rare chests are awarded to Hunters who have used Rare Map Dust on an 2012 Halloween Treasure Map.

- 17 October 2012: Hallowe'en Scroll Cases were released as part of the Halloween 2012 event.
- 9 November 2012: The Halloween 2012 event ended and all unopened Hallowe'en Scroll Cases were converted to Treasure Map Scroll Cases.
- 17 October 2012: Halloween Scroll Cases are released as part of the Halloween 2013 event.
- 14 October 2014: Halloween Scroll Cases are renamed 2012 Halloween Scroll Cases. Halloween Treasure Chests are renamed 2012 Halloween Treasure Chests and Rare Halloween Treasure Chests are renamed Rare 2012 Halloween Treasure Chests.
