| When Trick Mice are around, forget the candy-coated kids' stuff-- they are brazen spirits of the netherworld on a mission to scare Hunters out of cheese, and they take their job very seriously. Hunters report that Trick Mice have scratched ghostly claws up their backs, made ketchup 'blood' run from the mouths of Jack-o-lanterns, and even levitated them into the Haunted Mansion's graveyard while they were sleeping! The Trick mouse is a breed of mouse that can currently be found in the Haunted Terrortories, which is the hunting location for the Halloween Trick AND Treat. They are known to drop Holiday Candy as loot.
Preferred Cheese
Trick Mice are found to be especially attracted to Ghoulgonzola cheese.
Hunting Strategy
Trick mouse is only available to capture after using Ghoulgonzola cheese to capture 39 other mice in the Pumpkin Patch area within the Haunted Terrortories. Capturing both Trick and Treat mice unlocks Mousevina von Vermin Mouse, and after catching Mousevina von Vermin, the hunter's progress is reset. The Trick mouse can only be caught once per run in the Haunted Terrortories, so that if hunters would like to catch it again, they will need to complete the area again.
History and Trivia
- First released with the opening of the Haunted Terrortories for the Halloween Trick AND Treat on 20 October 2010 and did not drop any loot.
- When it was released in 2010, it was only weak against Arcane, Forgotten, Physical and Shadow type traps.
- On its re-release for the Halloween at the Haunted Terrortories event in 2011, Draconic, Hydro and Tactical type weapons became effective against it.
