| The mighty Magma Carrier mouse works tirelessly, for unknown reasons, carrying hot magma from the depths of Dracano into the Jungle of Dread. Over time, the delivered magma has slowly begun to expand the island. The Magma Carrier mouse is unable to resist the zesty flavour of Spicy Havarti cheese, often mistaking its scent for that of fresh magma. | |||

The Magma Carrier Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Jungle of Dread. They are known to drop Encrusted Metal of Time, Fire Salt, Runic Potions, and Burroughs Laboratory Map Piece.
Preferred Cheese
Magma Carrier mice have been found to be especially attracted to Spicy Havarti cheese, to the point that any other kind of cheese will simply not suffice.
Hunting Strategy
Shadow type traps such as the Clockapult of Time are very effective against Magma Carrier mice. All traps with other power types, including Arcane type traps such as the Obelisk of Slumber, are ineffective against these mice.
History and Trivia
During the Spring Egg Hunt 2011, Magma Carrier mice began dropping a bonus Jungle of Dread Egg as loot for Hunters who had obtained the Rocket Rabbit Mallet.
