Description
Treasure Maps can be found under the Collectibles tab of the inventory, but disappear once they are completed.
Treasure Maps require players to catch specific mice. The difficulty and number of the mice on the list depend on the type of map, and each type of map yields a different type of Treasure Chest. By default, maps are Common, but they can be upgraded to Rare with Rare Map Dust. If a player upgrades the map, it affects all players following that map. Upgrading a map does not affect the difficulty of the mice on the list, only the rewards for completing the map. All maps can be upgraded.
A hunter can only follow a single Treasure Map at any given time.

Medium Treasure Map

Hard Treasure Map

Halloween Treasure Map
Catching the mice listed on this spooky map will drop clues which when combined will show you where to find an incredible Halloween Treasure Chest! These maps contain 10 of the mice in the Haunted Terrortories, except for the Trick, Treat and Swamp Thang mice. Similar to regular maps, you must open the map in the heads-up-display to learn if it is common or rare.
Maps started before the end of the Halloween 2012 event remained available for completion after the event (of course, hunters with an event mouse remaining on the map would have to wait for the event to return in an year). Meanwhile, if a hunter owned a Hallowe'en Scroll Case at the conclusion of the event, then the following message was displayed in the Hunter's Journal as the item converted to a regular Treasure Map Scroll Case:
- Without the magic of Hallowe'en to sustain them, your Hallowe'en Scroll Cases have turned back into Treasure Map Scroll Cases.
