Preferred Cheese
While the Dumpling Chef mice have no specific preference for any kind of cheese when released as part of the Lunar New Year events, they prefer SUPER|brie+ as bait in the Training Grounds location.
History and Trivia
- The Dumpling Chef Mouse was released on 9 February 2010 as part of the Heart of the Tiger event, dropping Ox Mask in the Heart of the Tiger Party location. It was classified as a Rare Breed until 22 February 2010, when it appeared in the Training Grounds. The transformation from a Rare Breed into a regular breed resulted in a glitch whereby the total number of regular breeds available to catch increased (from 140 to 141), but the actual catches were counted in the Rare Breeds section. This was quickly corrected by the developers.
- On 23 January 2012, the Dumpling Chef Mouse was available in the Year of the Dragon Festival location where it was known to drop Firecracker Charms as loot.
- On 11 February 2013, they appeared in Calamity Carl's Cozy Cruise as part of the Year of the Snake Festival, dropping Cruise Bux and 7 Souvenirs (all but Gnawnian Shoreline Souvenir) as loot.
- On 30 January 2014, they appeared in Calamity Carl's Cozy Cruise as part of the Year of the Horse Festival event, dropping Cruise Bux and 8 Miniatures (all but Gnawnian Shoreline Miniature) as loot.
