The following may contain information or images ("spoilers") that may detract from your enjoyment of MouseHunt by revealing information normally discovered through game play.
Loot are items that may be dropped by mice when they are caught in traps. Different sorts of mice from varied locations drop loot. Some of the loot dropped are needed to make progress; such as map pieces. Other types of loot are simply bonuses to the hunter in the form of extra gold or points.

Bonuses
- Combat Research
- Combat Research is recovered from Kung Fu and Samurai mice while hunting in the Dojo. It serves no purpose beyond providing bonus points to the hunter. Kung Fu mice drop Combat Research worth 750 bonus points while Samurai mice drop Combat Research worth 1250 bonus points.
- Lab Research
- When hunting in the Laboratory, hunters will occasionally collect Lab Research from Steel, Granite, Bionic or Monster mice. It serves no purpose other than providing additional points. Lab Research comes in values of 500, 750 and 1,000 bonus points.
- Satchel of Gold
- A Satchel of Gold is recovered from various tactical mice as described below. It serves no purpose beyond providing bonus gold to the MouseHunter. Satchels of Gold come in values of 250, 500, 750 and 1000 bonus gold, depending on the mice caught.
- A satchel worth 250 gold is dropped by the Archer Mouse and the Pirate Mouse.
- A satchel worth 500 gold is dropped by the Kung Fu Mouse and the Samurai Mouse.
- A satchel worth 750 gold is dropped by the Student of the Cheese Claw Mouse, Student of the Cheese Fang Mouse and Student of the Cheese Belt Mouse.
- A satchel worth 1000 gold is dropped by the Assassin Mouse, Master of the Cheese Claw Mouse, Master of the Cheese Fang Mouse and Master of the Cheese Belt Mouse.

- Hunting Research comes from the Gifts dropped around Christmas 2008
