Edit summaries
Just a quick, polite note to ask you to PLEASE use the edit summary box (below the edit box) when making changes to a page. Many editors, including myself, are watching pages on the wiki and we get email notifications when the pages change. If you don't use an edit summary, we have to visit each page to find out what changes were made. Thanks for your help! -- B.Rossow talkcontr 22:35, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Sandbox
Just another quick tip on wiki editing, since I see your experimenting (which is A Good Thing™): Many people create a "sandbox" page where they can play around without mucking up their own user pages. Here's a link to where yours would typically be created: User:Delish/Sandbox. You can use it or not — makes no real difference, but it's there if you'd like to use it. :-) -- B.Rossow talkcontr 00:48, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Like your sandbox, templates and such should be kept in your own namespace unless and until they're ready for public use. You can reference them the same way you would if they were in the Template namespace. I just moved one such page into your namespace at User:Delish/AlphanumericTOC. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 05:03, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
