The King Grub Mouse is a breed of mouse that can be found in the Sand Crypts, and is known to drop Dol Essences, Est Essences, Fel Essences and Lunaria Petals as loot.

Being a gigantic grub is about the equivalent to being a gigantic baby - not too smart but prone to loud and sometimes dangerous tantrums. Mice steer clear of him as best as they can, which is okay because he prefers it that way. The short of all this, is that you'll never attract the King Grub to your trap without liberally slathering it with an appealing scent to attract him, and you'll never defeat him without heavily salting your trap for an added boost. | |||

Hunting Strategy
Normally, King Grub Mouse can only be attracted with Graveblossom Camembert and Grub Scent Charm armed.
It can also be attracted without Grub Scent Charm if Smelly Sodium Base is armed and salt level is at 50.
King Grub Mouse is a member of the Sand Dunes Mice group. As such all power types except Shadow are ineffective against it.
Salting is recommended before trying to catch King Grub Mouse.
