Blueprint Sunset Happens Tomorrow!

16 May 2022

Last chance to buy soon-to-be vintaged crafting materials!

Tomorrow, on May 17, store-bought blueprints will be refunded, and General Stores will no longer stock these vintage crafting materials.

Store-bought Blueprints Sunset

With the recent Shops Infrastructure Overhaul, Trapsmiths have become adept at constructing traps which once needed to be hand-crafted by MouseHunters!

As a result of this mass production of traps, the associated blueprints will soon vanish from hunters' inventories as the knowledge is passed on to Trapsmiths. Hunters looking to acquire one of these previously-crafted traps moving forward should seek out the appropriate Trapsmith to construct it.

Tomorrow (Tuesday, May 17) at 3:00 PM (UTC) blueprint refunds will begin to be processed.

The following blueprints will be removed from hunters' inventories and refunds given:

  • Ancient Box Trap Blueprints (Refund: 158,175 gold)
  • Ancient Spear Gun Blueprints (Refund: 160,000 gold)
  • Ancient Torn Blueprint Piece (Refund: 158,175 gold)

LAST CHANCE to Collect These Vintaged Crafting Materials!

With Trapsmiths streamlining the trap making process, many materials sold in General Stores have become obsolete. These items will be removed from General Store shelves on May 17. Any such materials left in hunters' inventories will be tagged as Vintage. Those who don't want to keep these items as keepsakes may smash them with their Hunter's Hammer for a full refund at any time.

As of tomorrow (May 17) at 3:00 PM (UTC) the following crafting materials will no longer be sold in General Stores. However, they will NOT disappear from hunters' inventories. They can be smashed for a full gold refund as desired using the Hunter's Hammer:
  • Arcane Crystal (Removed from Lost City, Sand Dunes, Living Garden, Labyrinth, and Zokor General Stores)
  • Bead of Slumber (Removed from Catacombs, Forbidden Grove, and Acolyte Realm General Stores)
  • Droid Parts (Removed from Bazaar and Furoma General Stores)
  • Metamorphic Rock (Removed from Seasonal Garden, Zugzwang's Tower, and Crystal Library General Stores)

Regional Friend Hunting

10 May 2022

The Hunter's Horn has been tuned, sounding louder than ever!

Friends in the same region are now eligible to be brought on hunts

Hunt with Friends in the Same Region

The Hunter's Horn has been tuned to sound louder than ever! Friends that are eligible and are in a location within in the same region as you can now be brought on a hunt when you sound your Hunter's Horn.

Previously, friends were only eligible if they were in the same location as you. Note that this change to the Hunter's Horn has not changed how the Tournament Horn works.

As always, there is additional criteria to determine if a friend is eligible to be brought on a hunt:

  • They must have been active in the last 60 minutes
  • They must have cheese armed
  • Their Hunter's Horn must be ready
  • They must have completed the game tutorial and reached the title of Apprentice
  • They do not have an unclaimed King's Reward
  • They do not have restrictions on their account which disable interaction with other players
  • They are not in the midst of performing another action in the game such as attempting to sound the horn themselves

Additionally, a limit of 8 friends can be brought on a hunt at one time.

Updated Travel Map (Browser Only)

The travel map within the browser version of the game has received a small update to indicate how many friends you have within each region.

The dev team is brainstorming updates to a few other interfaces for both browser and mobile to incorporate region info in places such as the friend list and friends online section within Camp.

Friends in the same region as you can now be brought on hunts!
