With the methodical moves of a ticking clock, the Technic King pushes his armies into battle, calculating their attacks using cold, hard logic. If this King needs to lose a few pawns to gain the victory, so be it. He's also not afraid to use a little firepower, as evidenced by the secret weapon hiding under his crown. Some people call this mouse fearless, but perhaps he is better understood as a dangerous eccentric; his throne sounds as though it will explode at any second and his crown could probably level the tower.
Mouse ID#: 269

Preferred Cheese

Technic King mice have no specific preference for any kind of cheese.

Hunting Strategy

The weaknesses of the Technic King Mouse differ slightly from most others in the Wizard's Pieces group. Tactical weapons are very effective against it, while all the others are less effective. It is only available to attract after a Technic Queen mouse has been caught.

Upon capturing a Technic King mouse, the hunter is automatically transported back to the Seasonal Garden unless they are using either Checkmate Cheese or a Stalemate Charm. By using either Checkmate Cheese or a Stalemate Charm a hunter is able to remain in Zugzwang's Tower and attempt to capture additional mice, including the Chess Master.

Upon capturing a Technic King mouse with either Checkmate Cheese or a Stalemate Charm armed, the mouse population changes. If Checkmate Cheese is armed, the available mice will be the Chess Master, Technic Rook and whichever Mystic mice have been unlocked. If Standard Cheese is armed, the available mice will be the Technic Pawn and whichever Mystic mice have been unlocked.
