| This cheese is rather poor at attracting mice. However, it seems that its unique scent drives away the white, grey and brown breeds of mice. | |
White Cheddar is the first cheese a player can craft. Its attraction rate is comparable with the one of Cheddar but does not compete with the one of Marble. This cheese has the capacity to repulse White, Grey and Brown Mice. When used it is preferably combined with the Wooden Base with Target to compensate its bad attraction rate.
Crafting White Cheddar
A young player would be able to purchase Curds and Whey and the Salt only in the Harbour. Therefore, it would cost 10 gold, i.e. as much as a piece of Cheddar.

White Cheddar and Stale Cheese
An experienced player could be seduced to use White Cheddar in order to farm Stale Cheese. It is therefore advised to use the bait with a very stale trap. In order to minimize the cost, one should buy the salt in the Bazaar or in the Harbour for 2 gold and curds and whey in the Catacombs for 3 gold.
