The Sorcerer Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Forbidden Grove and the Acolyte Realm. They are known to drop Runes in both locations.
Preferred Cheese
Sorcerer mice have been found to be especially attracted to Ancient and Runic cheese.
Hunting Strategy
Arcane type traps such as the Obelisk of Slumber are very effective against Sorcerer mice. Alternatively, hunters can also use Shadow type traps such as the Bottomless Grave, although they are neither less effective or very effective against these mice.
History and Trivia
- On 12 January 2011, Sorceror mice could be found at Ronza's Traveling Shoppe where they dropped Rockforth cheese as loot for the first time.
- Sorcerer mice began dropping the Scalloped Pink Egg as loot, in the Acolyte Realm on 19 April 2011, for the Spring Egg Hunt 2011 event.
- On 13 June 2011, the Sorcerer mouse was chosen as one of three "Monday Mystery Mice", along with the Harpy mouse and Desert Nomad mouse. It dropped SUPER|brie+ cheese as loot for one day only.
- On 11 February 2013, they appeared in Calamity Carl's Cozy Cruise as part of the Year of the Snake Festival, dropping Cruise Bux, Firecracker Charms, and Acolyte Realm Souvenirs as loot.
