Spring Forward into another Egg-Packed Season!
One of the most time-honoured events has returned to the Kingdom of Gnawnia! This year the Spring Egg Hunt features some brand new eggs, new rewards, and the return of Lady Laura!
To get started, you'll need a special egg-finding piece of equipment called an Eggscavator. If you do not already own one, you can claim one for free from the Spring Egg Hunt heads-up display. So grab yourself an Eggscavator and get ready for an eggsceptional season!
Lady Laura is Back!
A familiar face has returned to the Kingdom of Gnawnia to celebrate the coming of spring: Lady Laura, the Chocolatier! But she is no ordinary Chocolatier; Lady Laura is a master of the lost art of CocoAlchemy which gives her the ability to wield the mighty power of the purest chocolate known to science: Chocolatonium!
Unfortunately, a certain group of greedy, chocolate-obsessed mice have ambushed her caravan and once again stole all of her Chocolatonium! Collect the stolen Chocolatonium from the spring event mice that are roaming all over the Kingdom. These mice are so plentiful right now that you won't even need cheese to attract them!
Return the Chocolatonium to Lady Laura to unlock the shelves in her Chocolate Shop and she'll show her gratitude by presenting you with special, one-time rewards for unlocking each shelf. Once a shelf has been unlocked, you'll be able to purchase the items on that shelf with Chocolatonium anytime during the event.
Spring Mice and Spring Eggs
The Chocolatonium has driven the spring event mice into such a frenzy that you can find these mice EVERYWHERE in the Kingdom! They're so abundant that you do not need special cheese to attract them. In fact, you don't need any cheese at all!
The spring event mice all come exclusively from bonus hunts meaning they'll occasionally wander into your trap without consuming cheese or charms and without affecting any area gameplay progression. The spring mice will always drop Chocolatonium when caught.
These eggs in early game areas have received a small boost to their contents! Cracking them open will provide more of the items they contained previously as well as some new items!

The Eggsweeper Mini-Game Has Returned!
HOW TO PLAY: There are 10 eggs hidden somewhere in the field and you need to reveal them all to earn rank-specific rewards! Each tile you reveal costs 1 Eggsweeper Shovel. When you reveal a tile, you will either be shown a number or an egg. The number shown is a clue representing how many eggs are hidden in nearby tiles (diagonals included). If you reveal an egg, you get a special Eggsweeper Egg added to your inventory based on your hunter title.

These eggs will contain loot appropriate for areas in the Kingdom tied to hunter ranks. You can find a few Eggsweeper Shovels in each of this year's Spring Eggs including a whopping 60 inside the Golden Egg! You can also find them in your Daily Loyalty Chest, Lady Laura will gift you some for unlocking each of the shelves in her Chocolate Shop, or you can purchase them from the Premium Shop.
For even more eggstraordinary rewards, dust your Eggsweeper field with Magical Fertilizer before you start the mini-game! All the eggs found in a fertilized field will eggsplode with even more amazing loot!

More Eggs and Chocolatonium!Important Safety Notice:Chocolatonium has a highly unstable atomic structure and therefore only has a very short half-life. Any pure Chocolatonium exposed to the open air will undergo radioactive decay after only four weeks and even when it's properly contained within a hunter's inventory, it will only last an additional two weeks.
As of April 26, 2022, mice will no longer drop Chocolatonium and eggs will no longer be found in the Kingdom.
As of May 3, 2022, any Chocolatonium that remains in a hunter's inventory will decay into nothingness!
Make sure to spend it all at the Chocolate Shop while you can!
Shops Infrastructure Overhaul

New and improved shops throughout the Kingdom!
The King’s infrastructure project has been completed! New Trapsmiths, Cheese Shoppes, and General Stores have appeared all throughout the realm!New Shops Throughout the Kingdom
Larry has been hard at work, continuing to hone his training techniques while advocating for improvements to infrastructure throughout the Kingdom!
More shops means less remembering which location sells which item and no more traveling around merely to check the price of items!Gone are the days where hunters needed to cross over the Elub Shore when their supplies of Gouda Cheese or Coconut Milk were depleted. No longer will hunters have to descend the Mountain simply to check the price of a trap in town before trudging back to their hunting grounds!
Today, the King’s infrastructure project has been completed, ensuring that every hunting location has a Cheese Shoppe, General Store, and Trapsmith. Now, no matter where you’re hunting, you’ll always be able to restock on basic cheese and hunting supplies!
Nearly every location now has a Cheese Shoppe, Trapsmith, and General Store.Larry has ensured every location now has a Trapsmith stocked with Weapons and Bases appropriate for hunters who are first entering the area.
With the advancements in trap-building technology, Trapsmiths are now able to supply traps to hunters which previously needed to be discovered and crafted. Furthermore, Trapsmiths have simplified the process of obtaining traps in many cases by replacing some of their material costs with an equivalent gold cost. No need to supply the Trapsmith with the Platinum Bars needed to craft the trap yourself – It’s all included in the price!
Many traps created via crafting can now also be purchased from a Trapsmith for the same gold and item costs.Many Blueprints Are Being Phased Out
With the secrets of crafting now revealed to Trapsmiths throughout the Kingdom, crafting simple traps is now a somewhat antiquated practice. As such, blueprints have been removed from General Stores for any traps which are now purchasable through Trapsmiths.
Any blueprints removed from General Stores will remain usable in crafting tables, allowing hunters to complete their traps. Though they will later be removed from existence, along with their unique associated materials and recipes, therefore wise hunters should use their Hunter’s Hammers to receive a refund on their blueprints while they can.
Blueprints are no longer sold in General Stores due to traps and bases being sold directly from Trapsmiths. These Blueprints can still be utilized on the crafting table or otherwise smashed with the Hunter’s Hammer for a full refund.Adjustments to Traps and New Hunting Knowledge
With this grand overhaul to Trapsmiths across the Kingdom, trap-building processes have been streamlined, reducing costs and improving the performance of more basic traps.
Continuing with his efforts to improve the knowledge base of hunting techniques, Larry has continued to expose weaknesses on mice throughout the Whisker Woods, Furoma, all the way through to the Tribal Isles. Hunters hunting these adversaries will notice many are slightly easier to capture than they were before.
Many lower-level traps have had their costs reduced and many have had their stats increased! Hunters in some areas will also notice some mice have become weaker.

Finally, Larry has upgraded his Loot Lexicon to include a hint pertaining to where some items can be discovered. He has only begun to document this knowledge as “Primary Sources” which will no doubt help point hunters in the right direction. However, the best way to obtain these items and to hunt the mice that drop them remains a skill each hunter must hone for themselves.
Mobile support for “Primary Source” will come in a future update.
Future Plans
“What about Charm Shoppes?” This is only the first stage of improvements to infrastructure! The King is already assessing the process of Charms to have them better distributed throughout the Kingdom. His Majesty’s finest cheese experts are also busy studying the logistics of selling more varieties of crafted cheese within the now many Cheese Shoppes in the Kingdom.

Come see the secrets about how the Kingdom's Famous Cheese is made!Happy birthday... to US!
March 7, 2022 will mark the 14th year of MouseHunting! To celebrate the occasion, the King is reopening the doors of his secret SUPER|brie+ Factory for everyone to see. Hunters can get a behind-the-scenes look at where and how the succulent SUPER|brie+ cheese is made. Surely swinging the doors open to a factory pumping out the Kingdom's tastiest cheese known to mice can't cause any problems... right?
While taking in the sights, hunters are asked to kindly setup camp to help defend the factory and recover assembly line parts that have been picked up by the invading mice. There's SUPER|brie+, the Anniversary Aura, Party Charms, and more to earn!

Pump cheese through the assembly line of the SUPER|brie+ Factory by hunting mice with either Coggy Colby or Speedy Coggy Colby. Arming either of these cheeses will attract the rambunctious rodents wreaking havoc in the factory and capturing them will allow the delicious cheese to flow!
You can collect Coggy Colby by hunting with any standard cheese type at the factory. If you're looking to speed up your cheese production, you can use Speedy Coggy Colby which allows you to pump an additional 10 litres per catch! Speedy Coggy Colby can be earned as a reward for completing the SUPER|brie+ Factory Adventure or purchased from the Premium Shop.

Industrious gift idea!Once the cheese is pumped all the way through the assembly line you'll encounter Vincent, The Magnificent! Year after year this mouse stakes claim to the SUPER|brie+ Factory as their own personal cheese production facility!
You'll need to capture Vincent before the SUPER|brie+ reward crate can be claimed. Capturing Vincent will also reward a Golden Punch Ticket which you can spend at the various shops of the SUPER|brie+ Factory on a selection of enticing goodies.
Exploring the Factory
There are four rooms to tour within the SUPER|brie+ Factory, each with a unique population of mice to encounter and a factory repair part to recover as loot. Hunters are free to move to and from any room taking in the sights and hunting down different types of invading mice.
The Mixing Room
The Force Fighter Five mice have taken an interest in this room and have grabbed hold of the Mixing Rods being used. Upgrade this room to increase the quantity of SUPER|brie+ found in the reward crate.The Break Room
Various dance party mice have taken over this room and are using the Circuit Breaker Fuses to power their boomboxes! Upgrading this room will increase the number of SUPER|tokens+ found in the reward crate which you can spend at the SUPER|snax+ Vending Machine via the HUD for various bags of tasty cheese.The Pumping Room
Various time-controlling mice have synchronized themselves with this room and are using the Pressurized Pump Pipes in their study of time control. Upgrade this room to restore maximum pressure to the production pipeline and pump more liters of cheese with each hunt, speeding up how quickly the reward crate fills.The QA Room
Various cupcake mice have setup shop in the QA Room where they're using the Quality Cogs to fine-tune and carefully calibrate their own cupcake recipes. Upgrade this room to fine-tune your own recipe and increase bonus Empowered SUPER|brie+ contained within the reward crate as well as extending the Anniversary Aura by a greater amount each time you claim one.Golden Punch Tickets and Tasty Rewards
For your assistance in defending the factory, the King will allow you to keep any cheese crates that you successfully fill! Each crate you claim will also extend the Anniversary Aura and reward a quantity of SUPER|tokens+ which you can spend at the SUPER|snax+ vending machine. Lucky Day To Find a 14 Leaf Clover!
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day the Kingdom will be visited by the Lucky Mouse on Wednesday, March 16 until the end of the Birthday Event (Tuesday, March 22). During the visit you'll occasionally encounter the Lucky Mouse in several areas throughout the Kingdom, including the SUPER|brie+ Factory. During the Lucky Mouse's visit, each hunter's trap will also benefit from a +5 Luck Bonus!
