As the name suggests, the skin of this mouse is strong as steel. Less common than simple colored mice, the steel mouse is significantly harder to catch.

The Steel Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Gnawnia and Burroughs regions. They are known to drop Lab Research worth 750 bonus points and Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions in the Laboratory. They are also known to drop Scrap Metal if captured with the Digby Drillbot or the Chrome DrillBot.

• They were found at the Festive Comet during The Great Winter Hunt '09.
• They were found at the Heart of the Tiger Party‎ during the Heart of the Tiger event.

• Steel mice were available in all three sections of the Haunted Terrortories location during the 2010 Halloween Trick AND Treat Event, where they could drop Scrap Metal if hunted with an appropriate weapon.
