The Ghost Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Catacombs, Forbidden Grove, and Mousoleum. It is known to drop Ectoplasmic Essence in the Mousoleum, but only while hunters are in the process of completing the Zurreal Trap Research Assignment.

- The Ghost Mouse is attracted to Radioactive Blue Cheese and Moon Cheese.
- The Ghost Mouse is attracted to Ancient Cheese, Radioactive Blue Cheese and Moon Cheese.
Hunting Strategy
Shadow traps are very effective against the Ghost Mouse. Arcane and Forgotten traps are of normal effectiveness. Tactical and Physical traps are less effective.
The Forbidden Grove gates work on a 16-hour open, 4-hour closed cycle, so Hunters should plan accordingly when targeting the Ghost Mouse in this location.

- 14 April 2011: The Ghost Mouse began dropping the Green Plaid Egg as loot in the Catacombs as part of the Spring Egg Hunt 2011 event.
