In the Lagoon I have attracted 19 Hydras in 103 hunts with WG. Dave also mentioned in FBF that you'll attract a lot of Hydras with WG. So I think it's safe to add as bait pref. -- [[User:Rh|rh]] 14:35, 4 April 2010 (UTC) | In the Lagoon I have attracted 19 Hydras in 103 hunts with WG. First Mouse to be designed by Player
I believe it's the princess mouse because the devs said that the Kingdom they hail from is the name of the player who suggested it Thomas5436 20:44, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Princess mouse was actually designed by Jacob upon the suggestion of a user. However Hydra has been completely designed by the player. -- Camomiletea 21:37, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Bait preference
Do we know for sure Hydra has a preference to Gnarled? It's rather soon to tell that... -- Camomiletea 03:53, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think it'll be quite easy to test that. We can try to get 2 logs of hunters hunting at S.S. Huntington II, one with brie and the other with gnarled and compare the encounter rates -- Fersht 02:08, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

How to catch
As soon as enough data is available to be reliable, we should include (either here or at Hydro) some info on the best way to snag this mouse, as currently hunters can't buy a Hydro (power-type) trap until *after* they've caught at least 1 Hydra (for the blueprints) or more (for the scrap metal). Or perhaps that's information best suited to Trap Setup Options in the Lagoon? --GoBecky 14:05, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
