Update: Facebook has accepted our documentation and the game is no longer at risk of becoming temporarily unavailable to play on Facebook.

Facebook users should create a username before June 8 to avoid potential interruptions.

Have you made a username for your MouseHunt account?

Having a username and a strong password ensures you'll have access to your MouseHunt account despite potential outages with third-party sign-in providers such as Facebook.

As part of the game being on the Facebook platform, we have to occasionally work with Meta to align our app with their platform updates. This ongoing maintenance work can take time to complete which comes with a risk of the game being temporarily unavailable to play on Facebook. The last such occurrence of the game not being available on Facebook occurred on April 5, 2023 and lasted for 5 days.

Upcoming Policy Update

We are currently working with Meta on another policy update that could potentially result in the game being temporarily unavailable to play on Facebook. Although our update has been completed, it must now be reviewed by Meta. If not accepted, MouseHunt may temporarily be unavailable to play on Facebook starting June 8, 2023 for an undetermined period of time.

THE BOUNTIFUL BEANSTALK HAS SPROUTED!

Viceroy hunters and above can now embark on a new adventure. Climb the Bountiful Beanstalk and conquer the Castle in the Clouds!

The Bountiful Beanstalk has Sprouted!

The King's top scholars have successfully learned the ability to write the concept of a MouseHunter directly into the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk!

Thanks to this amazing feat, any MouseHunter ranked Viceroy or above who owns a copy of the Tale of Bountiful Beanstalk can now dive into that exciting story and put a stop to the Mythweaver's latest sinister plot!

Obtaining the Tale

The Table of Contents Cartographer is now selling the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk for 1,000,000 Gold, 1,000 Gnawbel Prizes, and requires completion of the Outwrite the Mythweaver adventure for any hunters who have yet to obtain it.

Savour the Flavour of Beanster

The Magic Beans that grow naturally on the Bountiful Beanstalk are a delicacy for the mice who live in the Castle in the Clouds. Use them to create delicious Beanster Cheese which will attract more lucrative mice in the castle!

The Mystery has been solved!

The King is very grateful for your service! Clever hunters were able to uncover the Mythweaver's latest plot!

Clever hunters were able to uncover the Mythweaver's latest plot!

After considerable effort, dedication, and ingenuity, the brave MouseHunters of Gnawnia were able to solve the Mythweaver's mystery and uncover his latest sinister plot!

Thousands of MouseHunters came together and pooled their collective problem-solving skills to answer all six riddles after only six rigorous hours!

Unfortunately, even though they were able to catch one iteration of the Mythweaver, he had already managed to write his concept into the next phase of his dastardly plan!

The Plot Thickens

From his extensive research while studying at the Crystal Library long ago, the Mythweaver learned of an alternate, albeit more difficult, way to alter the history and culture of this world: the long lost Folklore Tales.

After his initial plan to rewrite the Book of Lore failed, he decided to move on to his backup plan which was to obtain one of these lost books and write himself into it so that he could change its outcome from the inside!

A Precarious Agreement

Most scholars believed that these fabled tomes had vanished from this plane of existence long ago. But the Mythweaver is nothing if not resourceful, so he made the pilgrimage to the Acolyte Realm to convene with an entity that was also not of this plane of existence.

After striking a deal, the details of which are unknown, this entity was able to manifest a copy of one of the lost Folklore Tales for the Mythweaver. The book was a very old and very important story in Gnawnian culture: the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk.

A Narrow Escape

Sensing that the MouseHunters were closing in on him, the Mythweaver quickly wrote his concept directly into the book so that even though his physical form was captured, it was already too late!

Now he is roaming free inside the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk where he is safe from any MouseHunters and undoubtedly wreaking untold havoc!

Hope on the Horizon

Despite not stopping the Mythweaver in time, hunters were successful in retrieving the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk which is currently being studied by the King's top scholars.

The scholars are confident that very soon they will have learned the ability to write the concept of a MouseHunter directly into the story just as the Mythweaver did.

Once this amazing feat has been accomplished, the MouseHunters of Gnawnia who have reached the rank of Viceroy or above will be able to travel into this story and put a stop to the Mythweaver in whatever new form that he has written for himself!

The Bountiful Beanstalk launches on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 3:00pm UTC to hunters ranked Viceroy and above who own the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk map piece item!

Catching Up

Now that the mystery has been solved, the steps to complete it are available to all Archdukes/Archduchesses and above who have yet to do so.

The Mystery will only be available until Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 3:00pm UTC!

Step 1:

Catch a Mythweaver in the Table of Contents to loot the Folklore Companion Vol. 1.

Open the Folklore Companion Vol. 1

Step 2:

Use Rainy Cheese and a Spellbook charm in the Living Garden to the loot the Magic Bean.

Step 3:

Use Terre Ricotta cheese, a Stagnant charm, and any Arcane trap in the Laboratory to loot the Fabled Fertilizer.

Open the Folklore Companion Vol. 2

Step 4:

Use Gemstone cheese, a Shine charm, any Hydro trap, and the Aqua or Tidal base in the Cantera Quarry to loot the Lavish Lapis Bean.

Step 5:

Use Extra Rich Cloud Cheesecake, any Wealth charm, any Law trap, the Adorned Empyrean Jewel base or any Jade base, in a Treasury hallway in the Labyrinth or a Treasury district in Zokor to loot the Royal Ruby Bean.

Open the Folklore Companion Vol. 3

Step 6:

Use Moon or Crescent cheese, a Warpath Archer charm or the super variant, any Tactical trap, and the Wooden base with Target in Moussu Picchu with Rain at Low and Wind at High or Max to loot the Golden Harp String.

Step 7:

Use Final Draft Derby cheese in the Acolyte Realm with a trap setup that has exactly 4,000 power (not including the power bonus) and between 15 to 35 luck (inclusive) to loot the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk.

Obtaining the Map Piece Later

After the Bountiful Beanstalk launches, the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk map piece item will be available at the Table of Contents Cartographer for 1,000,000 Gold and 1,000 Gnawbel Prizes.

You have until Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 3:00pm UTC to complete the mystery steps!

At that time, the Storyteller mice that are hiding around Gnawnia will vanish and the Bountiful Beanstalk location will launch!

Charm Shoppe Updates and Improvements!

The King and Moustachio the Charmer have been hard at work to find a more effective method of supplying the Kingdom with charms.

Nearly every area throughout the Kingdom now features its own Charm Shoppe, each with a revised offering of charms appropriate to that area. Additionally, Moustachio has developed two brand-new charms. The Super Lucky Power Charm and the Extreme Lucky Power Charm are now available!

Finally, Moustachio's charm innovations also include ways of improving the effectiveness for many mainstay charms resulting in increased stats. Make sure to have a look through your inventory to spot these changes!
