Before embarking on your first flight, it may be wise to hunt the Launch Pad mice to recover morsels of tasty Cloud Curd which the local Cheese Shoppe can convert into Cloud Cheesecake. This fluffy yet richly-flavoured cheesy treat is a favourite among the mice that inhabit the skies above Hollow Heights. Ronza recommends stocking up with '''75 pieces''' before embarking on your first flight.

With a stash of Cloud Cheesecake at the ready, use the Sky Map to chart a course to a Floating Island of your choosing. Your Skyfarer's Oculus will allow you to focus in on the random islands on the horizon and see what resources and possible mice you'll encounter when you arrive.

====Exploring a Floating Island====

Upon landing on a Floating Island, take note of the island's landscape which indicates its power type and the breeds of mice you'll encounter. You'll want to arm an appropriate trap and have it baited with Cloud Cheesecake.

Have a specific power type setup you plan to always use? Access your airship's '''Trap Library''' via the heads-up display to save a favourite setup and associate it with that specific island's power type. Next time you visit an island of that power type the trap library will automatically switch your setup. Neat!

Your objective while hunting on a Floating Island is to explore its landscape in order to discover all the resources it has to offer. As you explore by catching mice, you'll uncover areas of the island which determine the type and quantity of loot you'll find and can even provide a boost to your exploration speed.

Failing to capture a mouse will allow it to alert the others to your presence and progress their plan for an ambush! The heads-up display will show your exploration progress as well as the ambush advancing towards you as two progress bars. Be extra careful when the bars meet, the resulting battle can undo your exploration efforts!

====Defeating Four Sky Wardens====

When selecting an island, pay special attention to ones which have a Warden Shrine present. Each magical weather shrine is guarded by one of the four Sky Wardens who harness its power to control the weather.

The shrines are projecting their magic even higher into the sky to create a dangerous storm that prevents flight to higher altitudes. Visit the islands with these shrines and defeat the Sky Wardens there to temporarily clear the weather and allow you to explore the High Altitude Islands.

'''The King's Vault is Open!'''

'''Explore an island where a Warden Shrine is present'''
+
Open prize packs and gain access to the King's Vault filled with goodies!
Encounter a powerful Sky Warden when the two progress bars on the HUD meet.

With the Sky Warden defeated, you may either continue to explore the island to gather more resources or return to the Launch Pad to choose your next island. The Sky Map will keep track of how many Sky Wardens you've defeated as you work towards eliminating all four.

====Upgrading your Oculus and Customizing your Airship====

As you explore the Floating Islands, you'll find Sky Ore and Sky Glass which can be used to upgrade your Skyfarer's Oculus by visiting the Workshop on the Launch Pad. Each upgrade will increase the quantity and variety of island resources you can find! Larger deposits of Sky Ore and Sky Glass, stashes of Cloud Curd, valuable Loot Caches, and even Sky Pirate Dens can be revealed by your upgraded oculus.
+
==== The King's Giveaway has BEGUN! ====
 +
The gilded gates protecting the King's Royal Treasure Vault have been opened and the King's Giveaway has begun!

'''Upgrade your oculus in the Workshop to find more lucrative islands.'''
+
From now until '''July 2''', the Treasurer, Snooty, High Roller, Mobster, and Leprechaun mice will be encountered more frequently everywhere in the Kingdom!

While your Skyfarer's Oculus will help you find more lucrative islands to explore, you can also customize the look of your airship in the Workshop to soar through the sky in style! There are a few cosmetic upgrades for sale at the Floating Island General Store and you may just find more rare cosmetics as you explore the islands. Some of these scarce and stylish cosmetics can be exchanged on the marketplace.
+
During the giveaway, each time you attract a mouse, you'll have a chance to attract a prize mouse as a '''bonus hunt''' which does not consume any cheese or charms and will appear as an additional hunt in your Hunter's Journal.

====Confronting Paragons on High Altitude Islands====
+
<center>''Capture these rare and valuable mice for Prize Keys and a chance to win SUPER<nowiki>|</nowiki>brie+, King's Credits, and more!''</center>

Once you have defeated four Sky Wardens, your Sky Map will change and allow you to chart a High Altitude Island where powerful Sky Paragons and more valuable resources await!
+
==== King's Prize Keys and The Vault ====

When selecting a High Altitude Island, the power type of the island determines which Paragon you encounter and the type of Paragon Loot Shrine present determines what resource that Paragon is protecting.
+
The greedy prize mice have snatched up '''ALL''' the keys this year! Only prize mice will drop King's Prize Keys but they will always drop at least one! Use these keys to open 10 Mystery Prize Packs from your Hunter's Camp. These packs contain all sorts of goodies such as Gold, Regal Charms, King's Credits and SUPER<nowiki>|</nowiki>brie+!

There are four unique types of Paragon loot: Sky Sprockets, Skysoft Silk, Enchanted Wings, and Cloudstone Bangles. Collect two of each to purchase an Adorned Empyrean Jewel and unlock powerful new traps!
+
Once you've opened 10 Mystery Prize Packs, the King will allow you to peek into the vault and select one of three randomly offered, highly valuable prizes! Once a prize has been selected from the vault, the door will slam shut and the prizes will reset. You may visit the vault every time you open 10 prize packs!

Upon defeating a Sky Paragon, the four Sky Wardens will regroup and cover the upper skies with powerful storms once again. You'll need to defeat the four wardens again before you can return to the High Altitude Islands.

==== A Reminder About Bonus Hunts ====
 +
Bonus hunts do not affect area progression, consume cheese or charms, or trigger special hunting effects and abilities. This means bonus hunts will not do things such as move your submarine forward in the Sunken City, advance your position in the Valour Rift, affect rage levels in Whisker Woods Rift, etc.

As Ronza departs, she's leading the first armada of airships into Hollow Heights airspace to explore the newly discovered Floating Islands!
+
The "special" bonuses '''specifically''' provided by your trap, base, charm, and aura(s) (not area bonuses like the Furoma Rift Droid) are taken into account as expected when encountering a mouse on a bonus hunt.

'''What lies beyond the storms of Moussu Picchu?'''<br>

Build your own dirigible and take flight to explore what lands may float above Hollow Heights.

<blockquote>

====Take Flight above Hollow Heights====

With her airship docked in Gnawnia, Ronza has been busy studying the cause of the troublesome turbulence that plagued her flightpath through Hollow Heights airspace. She's long known the storms above Moussu Picchu to be supernatural in nature, but only recently discovered their origin is directly tied to Storm Dragons.

Above the peaks of Moussu Picchu, above even the clouds obscuring their summit, severe magical storms ravage the skies preventing any hunter from daring to explore the mysteries high above Hollow Heights. However, the relentless pursuit to understand the source of Ful'Mina the Mountain Queen's power, along with Ronza's recent flight data, has revealed a glimpse into how Storm Dragons can bend the power of weather to their will.

''After close collaboration with Ronza, the Cartographer at Moussu Picchu has put forth a design plan for a dirigible capable of navigating through the magical storms!''

====Recovering an Oculus for Aerial Reconnaissance====

Ronza's flight data has confirmed what many believed to be myth: Ful'Mina and the other Storm Dragons are in possession of four magical weather stones. These stones are believed to protect Storm Dragons from the intense weather energy they so easily control and are the secret to protecting an airship seeking passage above Hollow Heights.

Finding these stones, however, is no straightforward task. They're obscured from anyone not utilizing a Skyfarer's Oculus for aerial reconnaissance. Ancient legend states that this powerful lens is guarded by Ful'Mina herself, which means you must confront her at Moussu Picchu and pry the oculus from her powerful grasp.

====Purchasing your Airship====

Once you safely recover a fully functional Skyfarer's Oculus, you'll be able to seek out the four warden stones and purchase your very own dirigible!

Put your oculus to use by tracking down '''any''' of the Storm Dragon mice and recover a Fog Warden Stone, Frost Warden Stone, Rain Warden Stone, and Wind Warden Stone.

Finally, visit the Moussu Picchu Cartographer to have the four stones and oculus installed onto your very own dirigible!

====Preparing for the First Air Expedition====

With so many hunters about to become novice pilots, the King has expressed some concern for safety.

'''His Majesty has decreed that the first air expedition will be an armada of airships led by Ronza herself!'''

Under the experienced tutelage of Ronza, the King is confident that the first coordinated flights by Gnawnian hunters will proceed without incident.

Hunters of rank Archduke/Archduchess (and above) who have secured their own Dirigible and Flight License on Tuesday, September 8 can be some of the very first to take flight and explore what lands are '''floating''' above Hollow Heights. Thereafter, any hunter is free to take flight without the direct supervision of Ronza.

'''The first air expedition will depart on Tuesday, September 8.'''

The King's Vault is Open!

Open prize packs and gain access to the King's Vault filled with goodies!

The King's Giveaway has BEGUN!

The gilded gates protecting the King's Royal Treasure Vault have been opened and the King's Giveaway has begun!

From now until July 2, the Treasurer, Snooty, High Roller, Mobster, and Leprechaun mice will be encountered more frequently everywhere in the Kingdom!

During the giveaway, each time you attract a mouse, you'll have a chance to attract a prize mouse as a bonus hunt which does not consume any cheese or charms and will appear as an additional hunt in your Hunter's Journal.

Capture these rare and valuable mice for Prize Keys and a chance to win SUPER|brie+, King's Credits, and more!

King's Prize Keys and The Vault

The greedy prize mice have snatched up ALL the keys this year! Only prize mice will drop King's Prize Keys but they will always drop at least one! Use these keys to open 10 Mystery Prize Packs from your Hunter's Camp. These packs contain all sorts of goodies such as Gold, Regal Charms, King's Credits and SUPER|brie+!

The King's Vault will close on July 9.

Once the giveaway ends, any King's Prize Keys in your inventory will be removed, so make sure to use them up!

Whether you take on a regular or party size map they'll both lead to the same Rainbow Treasure Chest rewarding Gold, Points, Ancient Charms, Rainbow Charms, King's Credits, and more!

Not interested in completing such a huge map? Rainbow Treasure Maps can be completed at any time by claiming a consolation prize for a portion of the Points, Gold, and Ancient Charms based on the number of mice captured.

A Reminder About Bonus Hunts

Bonus hunts do not affect area progression, consume cheese or charms, or trigger special hunting effects and abilities. This means bonus hunts will not do things such as move your submarine forward in the Sunken City, advance your position in the Valour Rift, affect rage levels in Whisker Woods Rift, etc.

The "special" bonuses specifically provided by your trap, base, charm, and aura(s) (not area bonuses like the Furoma Rift Droid) are taken into account as expected when encountering a mouse on a bonus hunt.
