not sure how i feel about the right table of contents. The ToC should be the first thing the user sees since this page is meant to be more of a glossary. let their eyes browse through the terms available first before showing them lots of text and disorienting them. plus on a wide screen monitory it's way off to the right. --PumpkinDog

Relevance

Just wondering if this article is still relevant. It's not linked from anywhere, but I can see some use for the page in combining all the scattered articles that are in existence at the moment regarding Terminology, such as those for Gold and Points etc. Comments? -- Grexx 11:03, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

I find that this has some good content for a player just starting out. I know I found it useful. I agree that we should figure out how to link this in and relate to other content. My concern is that if we combine this with other pages that the resulting page will end up to big. For example it is great to have all the crafting stuff on one page - but that page is too big. -- Ralphminer 11:17, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Just realized this page is a series of transclusions from the various articles. I think they link just nicely together. This set of terminology articles is just right. The other remaining articles would be the Hunter's titles, and Abbreviations articles, which are fine being separate. So basically it all boils down to the general preference. Should we have separate articles for the terminology, or group the general ones into this article. I'm leaning towards a centralized article as mentioned earlier, since the various terminology articles don't contain very much information in themselves. Let me know your thoughts on this.

As for the crafting page, that is an altogether different matter. It has been gaining lots of weight of late with all the new additions, and a solution to that certainly needs to be found. The terminology articles on the other hand, are expected to remain relatively static for a long time to come. If kept, the organization of the article also needs to be decided upon. My first thought was that it should be alphabetical - and apparently the person who first created it thought so too, but then it was changed to the current somewhat arbitrary order... *shrug* -- Camomiletea 16:16, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Will probably be settling for a combined article consisting of the 5 general terms in the current page, as well as a brief introduction and link to the Abbreviations and Hunter's Title articles. Party horn will be merged into Hunter's horn. Existing pages will redirect to this article, except for Gold, which will be converted into a redirect to Gold Mouse, since it'll be more useful than a pure disambiguation page. However, this isn't particularly urgent, so it'll get done when there's time, or not if there isn't, due to more pressing outstanding work with more major articles like Crafting, Loot etc. -- Grexx 09:17, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
