With regard to the question in the page history about Force Field not being deleted ... we can't possibly create a redirect page for every conceivable way that someone could mistype or otherwise get a name wrong. "Force Field" isn't the name of the weapon. It's a misspelled fragment of the name. It really has no business being here, even as a redirect. Instead of coddling people who can't get the name of the trap right, perhaps we should view the wiki as a learning tool for such people. Maybe then I wouldn't have to continually patrol the pages for changes by people who can't get "SUPER|brie+" or even "MouseHunt" right. Instead of enabling ignorance, let's help people learn. :-) -- B.Rossow talkcontr 23:33, 2 January 2009 (UTC) | With regard to the question in the page history about Force Field not being deleted ... we can't possibly create a redirect page for every conceivable way that someone could mistype or otherwise get a name wrong. :-) -- B.Rossow talkcontr 23:33, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Force field isn't just a mistype: There's a reason that the common abbreviation for the trap is "FF"; the most common name for the trap is Force Field, when used by the regular community. No one's asking for a redirect of everything. However, in the same way that you would redirect "ninja" to "ninja mouse", a widely-held nickname for a common trap is certainly a fair thing to redirect.--Kirbix 06:28, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
