Sorting
Is there actually a reason for this odd sorting of locations within the regions and of the regions in general? Shouldn't it be in the order it appears in-game for comparison reasons? _____m. 21:58, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Looks like locations within regions are listed alphabetically. I agree that it makes more sense to make it as in the game, for instance the way it is on the Travel page... -- Camomiletea 23:01, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanx for your input and effort! It surely is appreciated.... _____m. 07:08, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Move to Vertical?
User:Navarr/Template:Locations
The horizontal version just seems slightly out of place, what if we moved to a vertical version? I prepared a sample User:Navarr/Template:Locations. --Navarr 00:33, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- That goes against the convention on virtually every wiki I've worked on (Wikipedia being the preeminent example). Infoboxes are vertical at the top right; navboxes are horizontal at the bottom. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 03:34, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm fully aware of that, however, Locations don't have infoboxes, and the navbox at the bottom looks oddly out of place. Maybe if the Sidebar shown here was turned into both a location infobox and navbox? --Navarr 18:02, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- What kind of info would you put in an infobox for locations that isn't better covered in the narrative on the page? To me, the navbox doesn't look out of place at the bottom. That's where I would expect to find it as that's where they belong. I know you're set on getting it off to the right instead, but that just isn't how it's done on wikis (as you say you're aware). If you can come up with a legitimate infobox proposal for locations that isn't just a box for the sake of filling space, that's one thing. That could be added to the location pages. But dislocating a navbox isn't the right thing to do. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 18:09, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Location Quick Reference
I'm planning on adding a Location Quick Reference link to every location page, so I'm thinking of adding it at the bottom of the template instead, under an "information" section.
It will look something like "Information: Location Quick Reference". Let me know your opinions. -- Grexx 20:42, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

- I like that spot actually. A little hard to find at first glance, but once you get used to it, it's the perfect spot for the link. Let's leave it like that. And Camomiletea did a great job fleshing out everything :) I'm so glad we finally got that project out of the way and into reality. -- Grexx 20:58, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Separator dot
Are the dot supposed to be a separator or bullet points? If it's a separator it's weird to have it at the beginning of the line, and also the uneven spacing. --Bencmq 14:31, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
