| Once a passive breed of mouse, when night falls the Lycan transforms into a massive beast that strikes fear into even the most steadfast of hunters. Known to stalk shadowy forests and graveyards, this mouse possesses incredible speed and power. A hunter should be well-prepared before seeking out this adversary. Capturing this mouse may break its curse, potentially revealing secrets from whence it came. | |||

The Lycan Mouse is a breed of mice found in the Mousoleum and Training Grounds.
Preferred cheese
Lycan mice are especially drawn to Moon cheese, although it is not a hunting requirement, as they are also attracted by Radioactive Blue cheese.
At present, Lycan mice in the Mousoleum are also attracted by Cheddar cheese, though according to a message board post by the Executive Producer of MouseHunt, this is only temporary.
According to some who have caught Nibbler mice, Cheddar only attracts Lycan mice near a full moon, as occurred on 10 January 2008.
Trivia
- The name and visual appearance of these mice is based on common incarnations of the lycanthrope legend.
