The Master Burglar Mouse is a breed of mice that can be found in the Bazaar, King's Arms and Town of Gnawnia. It is known to drop Brie cheese, Crown Jewel and Satchels of Gold in all three locations, and Flawless Orb in the Bazaar. In Town of Gnawnia, it is known to drop Encyclopedia Gnawnia, but only while hunters are in the process of completing the Zurreal Trap Research Assignment.

He had stolen the King of Gnawnia's crown, and every hunter was encouraged to do their utmost to capture it and recover the crown. On the following day, the mouse was caught by a lucky hunter, who won $1,000 (CAD) for her efforts.
- Previously, when MouseHunt could be added as a Facebook profile tab (a feature no longer supported by Facebook), the background image featured the Master Burglar mouse in action. According to the developers, the Master Burglar mouse's name is Bob.
- The Master Burglar was reintroduced as a breed on 8 June 2010 alongside the release of MouseHunt version 3.0.
- On 25 January 2011 they began to drop Flawless Orbs as loot.
- On 23 August 2011 they began to drop the Encyclopedia Gnawnia as loot in the Town of Gnawnia.
- On 25 June 2013, they gained a vulnerability to Law power type traps, with the release of Varmint Valley.
