Built upon research of battle strategy, these traps are especially strong against mice trained in the art of war.
Effective Against
The Tactical traps are effective against fighting mice, which include:

- Master of the Cheese Claw Mouse
- Master of the Cheese Fang Mouse
- Master of the Dojo Mouse.

- Ninja Mouse
- Pirate Mouse
- Samurai Mouse
- Student of the Cheese Belt Mouse
- Student of the Cheese Claw Mouse
- Student of the Cheese Fang Mouse
- Worker Mouse
Types of Tactical Traps
The only tactical trap available for purchase is the Zugzwang's Last Move at the Training Grounds Trapsmith. The Ambush Trap is also a tactical trap but is only available through crafting.
This is with the exception of the Snow Barrage, a limited edition tactical trap offered at Ronza's Traveling Shoppe during December 2008.
