Link to individual talk page or Category talk
I just noticed Camomiletea's revert/fix so that the template points to an individual talk page instead of the category talk page as I had set up before. If we link to an individual talk page, then the page for Special:WantedPages is packed full of unnecessary links. Very few people will wander onto a page tagged for deletion and comment on its deletion since most links tied to a page have been removed. Another issue is that the admin deleting a page will have to delete a page as well as its talk page but a person can't tag a talk page for deletion or else you would get a never ending cycle (assuming someone wanted to create a discussion page of why we do/don't want to delete a discussion page) of something like Template talk talk:Deletion or something similar to this page (User talk talk:M) and the resulting talk page of Talk: User talk talk:M.
On the other hand, if we used Category talk as the discussion page for ALL articles tagged for deletion, an individual article have has its own heading with discussion about the deletion of an article within the heading. --Peter888 03:37, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

- It is better to leave it pointing at the talk pages since that is where most people tend to discuss the issue, and where the usual reasons for deletion are given. The admins will have to remember to delete the talk pages when they delete articles that's all. Should probably do a quick list for them and point them to it if there are any.
- If the wanted page links are really bugging you, one solution is to just remove the link and leave it as plain text. Most users should be familiar with discussion pages. -- Grexx 05:34, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
