Just noticed there isn't an 'inferno pepper plant' image link. Don't think it's wildly important though, they all look pretty much the same apart from the colour. Anyone know if there is any way to increase the yield of the plants?
- its random 1-5 per plant. The time taken to grow the plants does not affect anything. --Chong McBong 16:42, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think it would be a good idea for the article to specifically say that the number of peppers is random. People ask about this extremely frequently in the form. --Winelight 20:36, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- We only assume that it's random? It may be deterministic. --Hyperchao 21:43, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed you are right. So the only thing we could say with any certainty, would be something along the lines of "There is no known way to influence the number of peppers picked, such as by leaving the plant to 'grow'." --Winelight 10:54, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- That's a good way of saying something is random :) I don't think too much should be read into any of the numbers. Everything in the game is based on die rolls, possibly with minor modifiers for rank and luck. Otherwise we should automatically assume it is completely random. If not it will be impossible to write most of the articles based on loot without listing all the caveats if we were to assume otherwise. -- Grexx 11:31, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think the article is fine as it, with the word "randomly" inserted. What counts is whether is helpful to, and not misleading, the reader. --Winelight 12:25, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
