Regarding the Burroughs River Page
I think we should keep this page though possibly revert it back to the original page originally made by Dave. The page itself serves no more use other than a history to the development of the three new furoma locations. Also, we all love a little history of MH don't we? We're still trying to find out who Ronza is after all =p
- Since the articles for referenced locations are causing the same problem as crafted cheeses, I'm thinking we could use the same solution and just put them all into a single article. I've made an example in my sandbox after going through every location/loot/mouse description and only selecting the capitalized references. The exclusions include Ronza's homeland, Zugzwang's tower, the eastern island and the northern forest of Furoma. Revengeance 12:47, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- Looks excellent! Start the page by clicking this link: Referenced locations. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 13:38, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

An addition to the FAQ
Based on the fact that Dave Vanderburg himself has said that switching traps/bases will not affect luck in catching mice (according to his revision history of Master of the Cheese Belt Mouse), would it be worth mentioning that in the FAQ? It's (unfortunately) a REALLY widely-held belief that changing traps will make it easier to catch things, and it might sway people against it if we mentioned it. --Kirbix 03:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Go for it. :-) -- B.Rossow talkcontr 07:37, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- I actually feel that information would better go in the myth pages (could go in the FAQ as well) along side the cheddar banking myth.AzureOwl 09:06, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Spanish Pages
That's good you're not afraid to tell me. I am semi-fluent in Spanish though I have not needed to speak it in a long time so if there is someone who is more fluent, I will be glad to let him edit the pages and thanks for your comments. I always enjoy them and even though I don't always agree with them at first I Always see your point after a while.--Justin.craig09 20:07, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply! Didn't mean anything personal -- acting more as a messenger as I'm FAR from fluent in Spanish (unless you need someone to count to ten -- then I'm your guy!) and wouldn't know if they were even close to correct or not. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 20:15, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Its okay. I didn't take any offense. I haven't used my Spanish in years and it has depleted quite a bit. I may do a few edits here and there but I will make them few and far between. Oh and by the way, are there any special projects you would like me to work on? I will make sure I get them approved by you before I change anything big.--Justin.craig09 20:28, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have anything specific in mind. I'm spending more time lately on a different wiki I'm getting off the ground (unrelated to MH). Please don't think you need to get anything approved by me -- I'm no more in charge around here than you or anyone else except the developers who own the site. I just happen to have strong opinions on how things should be done. If you have something to work on, go for it! If it's a big change, I'd suggest doing it in your sandbox and then posting a note on the relevant talk page for affected article(s) before making sweeping changes, but that's up to you. Gotta run.... -- B.Rossow talkcontr 20:51, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

control freak?
This is the second time I've modified a page in order to improve it, and the second time I've had my changes rolled back so that you can post it again with some other changes of your own. Do you always modify a page after someone else has? Are you a control freak who always has to have the last word? If that's so, then just set up your own page and don't make it a wiki! I can tell you that I will never bother trying to help again!!!!! --robodok 15:29, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Dude, take a pill. It wasn't your edits being targeted but the editor before you. I can't fix his errors without affecting yours. Madrocker keeps making messy edits and I keep cleaning them up. Had nothing to do with you. Regardless, you'd do well to note the message below the edit box: "Please note that all contributions to MHWiki may be edited, altered, or removed by other contributors. If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then do not submit it here." Whatever the case, it has nothing to do with you and certainly nothing to do with control. Just a bit of advice: if you take edits personally, a wiki is not the place for you. If you care about getting credit for your work or having your name at the top of a page history, a wiki is not the place for you. Happy hunting! -- B.Rossow talkcontr 15:35, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Just checked your contribution history to see how else I had wronged you. With regard to the article on the pages from Plankrun's journal, I moved the page to match what it's called in the game instead of a made-up title. Because I had to have the last word? No. Because it was incorrect and I fixed it. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 15:41, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
