The Ghost Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Catacombs, Forbidden Grove, and Mousoleum. They are known to drop Ectoplasmic Essence in the Mousoleum, but only while hunters are in the process of completing the Zurreal Trap Research Assignment.

Preferred Cheese
The Ghost Mouse has been found to be especially attracted to Ancient and Radioactive Blue cheeses.
Hunting Strategy
Shadow traps are very effective against the Ghost Mouse and Arcane and Forgotten traps are of normal effectiveness. The Forbidden Grove gates work on a 16-hour open, 4-hour closed cycle, so Hunters should plan accordingly when targeting the Ghost Mouse in that location.

- 12 January 2011: The Ghost Mouse could be found at Ronza's Traveling Shoppe where it dropped Rockforth cheese as loot.
