The Heart of the Meteor is a breed of mouse found in Fort Rox. They are known to drop Ancient Relics, Animatronic Birds, Divine Orbs, Extreme Ancient Charms, Flawless Orbs, Howlite, Meteoric Core Fragments, Meteorite Pieces, Moon Cheese, Silver Bolts, Super Ancient Charms, Super Cactus Charms, Ultimate Ancient Charms, Ultimate Attraction Charms, Ultimate Luck Charms, Ultimate Power Charms, and Unstable Charms as loot.

| Nestled within the remnants of the Fort Rox meteor slumbers an incredible source of power. This tiny mouse courses with energy, presumed to be what radiates throughout the Fort Rox mice, causing all of the unique transformations. Seemingly at peace and unaware of her surroundings, she is in a deep and powerful trance, emitting waves of bright, blinding light to supply her followers with their great strength and abilities. | |||

Preferred Cheese
The Heart of the Meteor has been found to be particularly attracted to Sunrise cheese, to the point that any other kind of cheese will simply not suffice.
Hunting Strategy
Arcane traps are very effective against the Heart of the Meteor. Shadow traps are of normal effectiveness.
Heart of the Meteor mice can only be encountered by entering the Heart of the Meteor using a Fort Rox Portal Projector during the dawn phase in Fort Rox.
Upon catching the Heart of the Meteor, the following message is displayed in the Hunter's Journal:
My trap somehow subdued the ferocity of the Heart of the Meteor!
With the creature defeated, the power of the Fort Rox Portal Projector faded and I found myself transported back into the Dawn, almost as if no time had passed at all.
I disarmed my Sunrise Cheese, as it would be no use here.
I must craft another Fort Rox Portal Projector and venture in for another challenge!
