Coal Shoveller Mouse
The Coal Shoveller Mouse is a breed of mouse found throughout Varmint Valley.
It appears only when a hunter is tackling a Thugs or Dirt Dealers Wanted Poster in Claw Shot City. It can be attracted during the Daredevil Canyon phase in the Gnawnian Express Station, where it drops Black Powder Charms, Fuel Nuggets, and Tin Scraps as loot.

| Digging foundations for buildings, shovelling coals into hot engines, cleaning out the pigeon stables. These mice are no strangers to hard work and after a long day they are just looking to relax and enjoy a strong drink and an even stronger piece of cheese. Get in their way and they'll show you the business end of their shovel, which we may note is an incredible sanitary issue!
While riding on the Gnawnian Express, these mice have a chance to drop a Black Powder Charm when caught, but they will only show up if Dusty Coal Charms are in sight. | |||

Preferred Cheese
Coal Shoveller mice have no specific preference for any kind of cheese. However, in the Daredevil Canyon, these mice are attracted only when Dusty Coal Charms are armed.
Hunting Strategy
Law type traps such as S.L.A.C. are very effective against Coal Shoveller Mice.
Event Participation
- The Coal Shoveller Mouse drops the Gnawnian Express Egg during the annual Spring Egg Hunt.
History and Trivia
- Released on 25 June 2013 as part of the Claw Shot City content, as the Coal Shoveler Mouse.
- Added to the Gnawnian Express Station on 26 September 2013 together with the location's release, where it was given a longer description and the name changed to adjust the spelling for consistency with other mice.
