The Christmas Tree Mouse is a breed of mouse that can be found in the Festive Comet. They are known to drop Eleven Coloured Lights, Gingerbread Base Blueprints, Gingerbread House Plans, Icing Sugar, Three Santa Hats, and Twelve Liters of Egg Nog as loot.
Preferred Cheese
Christmas Tree Mice are found to be especially attracted to SUPER|brie+ and Gingerbread cheese.
Hunting Strategy
Hunters are advised to use their strongest and luckiest trap available to them for this rare adversary, in order to prevent this elusive mouse from getting away from their trap in the event that they encounter one. It has also been observed that most hunters have caught the Christmas Tree Mouse within the first few hunts after switching to SUPER|brie+, though it is certainly not guaranteed.
As with any hunt, using your luckiest and strongest trap is a good idea. However, the Christmas Tree Mouse is not particularly difficult to catch (falling between the Dwarf and the Steel mice in the general difficulty ranking on the hunter profile page) and consequently the key strategy is attraction. Using a trap setup with a high attraction rate along with SUPER|brie+ is therefore recommended. And, if hunters have not had their Gingerbread Blueprints from the hard-to-attract Worker Mouse or Ornament Mouse, they may also try using a lucky trap setup along with SUPER|brie+ and hope they catch a Christmas Tree Mouse with the blueprints.
