The Cruise starts at the Harbour and then sails around Rodentia where hunters can take in sights from around the Kingdom. Carl's Cruise will sail past the Harbour, Gnawnian Shoreline, Digby and Lab, Iceberg, Acolyte Realm, Huntington, Tribal Isles, Zugzwang's Island, Sunken City, Hollow Heights, and Daredevil Canyon. As usual, the cruise ship has been invaded by Lunar New Year mice! Carl needs you to hunt down the pests aboard and will reward you with some Cruise Bux for helping out!

While hunting aboard the ship you'll find Firecracker Charms as loot. Hunting while having a Firecracker Charm armed will boost the ship's speed. The sound of firecrackers will also lure some costumed mice out of hiding that drop Nitropop Potions. Use Nitropop Potions to create Nitropop Charms which will speed the ship up even further and lure out a costumed mouse that drops the mighty Monkey Fling Potion! This final potion creates Monkey Fling Charms that will have the ship moving at top speed and also lure out the "guest of honour": The Costumed Monkey Mouse!

The Taiga is thawing Fire your final hailstones and send out your final golems!

The Great Winter Hunt is Coming to an End

Congratulations MouseHunters, thanks to your valiant efforts, the Frost King's forces are retreating!

After the relentless barrage of Hailstones from the brave hunters of Gnawnia, the Frost King's icy powers are waning and the Great Winter Taiga is beginning to thaw.

Soon all the snow will be gone and the Frost King and his forces will go into hiding for another year.


The Great Winter Hunt has entered the shutdown phase

The following changes have happened in the Taiga:

  • Mice are no longer dropping Golem Parts or Pecan Pecorino
  • Mice in Cinnamon Hill are no longer dropping Compressed Cinnamon

The following things will remain the same until January 16 when the event shuts down completely:

  • Golems can still be built and sent out
  • Cinnamon can still power the Forges in the Golem Part Workshop
  • Hailstones can still be fired at the Ice Fortress


The Great Winter Hunt will end completely on
Tuesday, January 16, 2024

Hunters can continue to send out Snow Golems until the event ends completely.

After the event ends, the following items will melt away and be removed from your inventory:

  • Reinforced Ice Shards
  • Compressed Cinnamon
  • Hailstones
