The Adventure Book

29 July 2015

"The Adventure Book is a new way to see what big challenges you've accomplished and which still await you!"

A Hunter's Adventure Book

Ever find yourself wondering what you've accomplished in your hunting endeavours and what major challenges there are still left to do? Or, perhaps you've heard tales of hunters traveling to locations you've never heard of and wondered how to go about unlocking that location? The Adventure Book aims to catalogue your major hunting accomplishments to answer the basic questions of "What have I done?" and "What's left to do?"

The Adventure Book can be opened by clicking the banner at the top of your hunter's journal. In the book you'll see of a list of adventures spanning the entire Kingdom organized by the Hunter's Title required to start each one. If you're unable to start an adventure, you'll see a message explaining what you need to do in order to unlock the adventure. You can even click the name of map pieces to learn about what adventure you'll need to complete to find the map piece. If you've completed an adventure, you'll see a button to claim a reward from the King!

Viewing Adventure Progress

Click any adventure to expand it and show the ultimate objective as well as the major steps you'll need to accomplish along the way to complete the adventure! The steps act as a great way for hunters new to an area to get a quick overview of how hunting there works, as well as a great way for more experienced hunters to view a quick refresher on an area's details.

Each major step will be checked off as you complete it to track which steps of the adventure you've become experienced in. Within the adventure details you'll also see what sort of power types are suggested, as well as a description hinting at possible rewards and strategy.

Towards the top-right corner of each uncompleted adventure is a small star icon. Click the star icon to select it as your current adventure. Whichever adventure you have chosen to "star" will always be displayed above your journal no matter where you travel. Using the star is a great way to remember what you were working towards after taking a break to participate in an event, helping a friend with a Treasure Map, or anything else that you may put an adventure on hold for.

Adventure Rewards

Completing adventures comes with generous rewards of Gold, Points, and King's Credits! Upon completing everything an adventure entails, the banner in your journal will show you that you have an unclaimed reward. Click the banner to open the adventure book and claim the reward!

Gold

The amount of gold an adventure rewards is primarily determined by the Hunter's Title required to start the adventure, as well as the length and difficulty of the adventure. Gold rewards range from 2,000 gold, all the up to 150,000 gold!

Points

Adventures that reward the most points are primarily adventures where you'll find a new map piece or other important piece of hunting equipment towards the end of the adventure. The points earned also contribute towards your Hunter's Title progress. If you're looking to spot the adventures most critical to progression, look for the ones worth the most points!

King's Credits

A few adventures also reward King's Credits. These types of adventures are typically worth fewer points and are those selected by the King as adventures that go "above and beyond" Hunter's Title expectations. Adventures that reward King's Credits are not likely as important to your overall progression, however, they'll likely be key to finding powerful new hunting equipment or tracking down a particularly powerful mouse for bragging rights!

Limited Time Adventure Gift Basket and Grand Kit

To celebrate the launch of the Adventure Book, the King has put together two lucky SUPER|brie+ kits! Both the gift basket and grand kit are a great deal on SUPER|brie+ and also include Extreme Luck Charms! As a special bonus, the Grand Adventure Kit even includes a single Ultimate Luck Charm! • Grand Adventure Kit
  • 2,000 SB+
  • 200 Extreme Luck Charms
  • 1 Ultimate Luck Charm

These two great SUPER|brie+ deals are available for one week only!

Goals Not Found in the Adventure Book

The Adventure Book's focus is to show accomplishments for most hunting areas throughout the Kingdom. Completing these will lead hunters down the path of first being recruited by the King, all the way to achieving Duke/Duchess rank and defeating powerful Rift mice! Along the way, adventures will highlight important map pieces and critical hunting equipment. As more areas are discovered, the book will be updated to reflect them and help you keep track of your progress!

However, there's a lot more to being a MouseHunter than just these adventures! There are many challenging goals that hunters set for themselves each day, such as collecting King's Crowns, achieving prestige through Tournament victories, collecting rare traps and bases, tracking down extremely rare or powerful breeds such as the Shelder and Dojo Sensei, or even the ultimate goal: Capturing every known breed of mouse there is!

These challenges and goals are not included in the Adventure Book as they are geared more towards personal achievements, but this does not make them any less important! Keep on creating epic adventures of your own, the King loves them!

These adventures are only the basics. Where a hunter chooses to go from there is up to them!
The King wishes you all good luck, smelly cheese, and happy hunting!

Sunken City Bonus Loot Mini-Event

20 July 2015

For one week there's lots of new bonus items to find in the Sunken City!

Magma Eruptions Disturb the Rodentia Ocean

Deep in the Rodentia Ocean, a massive Magma Flow has erupted causing odd effects throughout Sunken City dive zones! There are several new items to find, including new Treasure Crates, Ancient Dive Crates, Double Sand Dollar drops, and more! Now's a great time to put on your wet suit, climb into your sub, and brave the cool Rodentia water!

During this mini-event all mice that drop Sand Dollars will drop an extra one!

Sunken Treasure Crates

Dropped by mice in Sunken Treasure zones

The seismic activity of the magma eruptions has unearthed a stash of special crates inside of Sunken Treasure zones. These crates are dropped by Treasure Keeper and Treasure Hoarder mice found in Sunken Treasure Zones and contain lots of Sand Dollars as well as a few fishy crafting items. If you're lucky, you may even find something a little more... "Ultimate".

Ancient Dive Crates

Dropped by Ancient of the Deep mice in Monster Trenches

These glowing crates drifted downstream directly from the massive Magma Flow itself. They were quickly grabbed by Ancient of the Deep mice within Monster Trenches and are now being closely guarded by those fearsome mice. Inside you'll find loot similar to that found during Magma Flows including Unstable Charms, Anchor Charms, and orbs. If you're lucky, you may also find something even more valuable including Ultimate Charms, Fire Salt, or even a Predatory Processor!

Treasure Trawling Charms

Found inside Sunken Treasure and Ancient Dive Crates, Loyalty Chests, and as free Daily Gifts

Use these charms while diving at the Sunken City to scrape the ocean floor for treasures! Each hunt taken with a Treasure Trawling Charm will dig up some sort of loot including Oxygen Canisters, Sand Dollars, Barnacles, Mousescales, and Coral Fragments. If you're lucky, these charms may even unearth something even more valuable such as Anchor Charms, Water Jet Charms, and more!

Ultimate Anchor Charms

Crafted using Predatory Processors, rare find using Trawling Charms and rare inside of Treasure and Dive Crates

Amidst all the diving excitement, Mustachio has discovered how to craft a powerful new charm! The Ultimate Anchor Charm features a heavy metal anchor powered by a Predatory Processor. It combines the properties of both an Anchor and Ultimate Charm, slowing your sub while guaranteeing the capture of a mouse.

The metal anchor in this Ultimate Charm is powered by a Predatory Processor! The Ultimate Anchor Charm not only slows down your submarine while diving, it also guarantees the capture of the next mouse you encounter! As powerful as this mighty charm is, the unstable energy of the processor is barely able to hold this charm together and, as a result, there's a chance of it being consumed each time you use it while hunting.

This charm only works while diving underwater at the Sunken City!

Being an avid fishing hobbyist himself, the King has put together a selection of Trawling Supplies to help your own pursuit of fishing for bonus loot!
