History

MouseHunt 1.0

The Marketplace was a feature in the game that enabled players to buy and sell Keys to the Town of Digby, Maps to the Laboratory, and SUPER|brie+. Unlike the Cheese Shoppe or Trapsmith, the Marketplace was a peer-populated feature, meaning that those players looking to buy certain items would only be able to find those items that other players had put up for sale. For MouseHunt 1.0, this feature could be found in the shops tab of the game. The Marketplace in the MouseHunt 1.0 interface was the subject of numerous complaints regarding unavailability of goods and difficulty of trading.

MouseHunt 2.0

With the update to MouseHunt 2.0, the Marketplace was unavailable to players and was replaced by the Trading Boards where only SUPER|brie+ could be traded.

MouseHunt 3.0

The Marketplace re-opened on the 21st of June in MouseHunt 3.0. Hunters could be found under the Shops tab, underneath Merchants on the list. Hunters could anonymously post offers selling SUPER|brie+, Moon and Maki cheese. Once another hunters buys the offered items, a message would appear on the seller's Journal page and the seller would then go and claim his/her gold at the Marketplace.
