While I am by no means an expert on the mechanics of Zugzwang's Tower, I've based the listed cheese preference for Checkmate cheese off of two things: the attraction rates logged on Horntracker, as well as the description of Checkmate cheese which reads "The Kings of both teams long for a morsel of this cheese...." My main concern would be that the results listed on Horntracker could be skewed, as hunters are more likely to use this cheese at a point when the kings can actually be attracted, and that the actual attraction rate may not differ from that of other cheeses. If anyone out there knows more about this matter than myself, well, your input is welcome. :-) —MearsMan talk 17:21, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

* Typically cheese preferences listed here are factual rather than inferred. There is nothing from the devs that explicitly establishes this preference and, as you suggested, the anecdotal evidence from Horntracker may be skewed. As such I'm going to revert the changes until such time as the devs confirm such a preference. ::No, that's perfectly fine! I'm just trying to come up with some content for the Cheese Preference section for these mice, as the manual of style states that this section should always be included. Would you say the "no specific preference for any kind of cheese" description is more accurate for the time being? —MearsMan talk 17:36, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

:::That's definitely better. We've had problems in the past with people adding guesses, conjectures and personal theories, which is then assumed to be canonized fact regardless of how far off from reality it actually is. Cheese Pref

Typically cheese preferences listed here are factual rather than inferred. There is nothing from the devs that explicitly establishes this preference and, as you suggested, the anecdotal evidence from Horntracker may be skewed. As such I'm going to revert the changes until such time as the devs confirm such a preference. Sorry. B.Rossow · talk 17:27, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
