Squeaker Claws mice have been found to be especially attracted to Nutmeg cheese during the Great Winter Hunt 2010. During the Great Winter Hunt 2011, Squeaker Claws changed to being especially attracted to Festive Feta, to the point that any other kind of cheese will simply not suffice. During the Great Winter Snowball Fight, they were also attracted to SUPER|brie+.
Hunting Strategy
In 2010, the Squeaker Claws Mouse was available to catch only once a Hunter had lit all 12 Festive Lights by catching the 12 Mice of Winter, also known as the Festi-Villains. In 2011, the Squeaker Claws was available in the Crystal Library, Dracano, and Muridae Market among other event mice, as well as the exclusive boss mouse for each sub-area of the Snow Fortress.

- During Feedback Friday on 31 December 2010, it was confirmed that the amount of experience points gained from the Squeaker Claws Mouse is almost the same as from a Mystic Bishop or Technic Bishop in Zugzwang's Tower.
- On 10 December 2013 Squeaker Claws Mice appeared at the Festive Snow Fort during the Great Winter Snowball Fight dropping Snowball Bocconcini.
