The Deep Mouse has no specific preference for any kind of cheese.
Hunting Strategy
The Deep Mouse can only be encountered in The Deep Lair. Hunters must arm the Deep Freeze Base, Iceberg Boiler Base, or Ultimate Iceberg Base when catching Icewing and then complete the Hidden Depths in prior to hunt #250 to enter The Deep Lair and encounter the Deep Mouse. The Deep Mouse is a guaranteed catch on hunt 250, but only if attracted to the Hunter's trap. Therefore, it is recommended that Hunters arm SUPER|brie+ for that final hunt.
The quantities of Deep Thought (25,000 points) and Satchel of Gold (10,000 gold) dropped as loot is dependent on how many hunts remain of the allowed 250 when the Hunter catches the Deep Mouse. A successful catch of the Deep Mouse will award 1 each of Deep Thought and Satchel of Gold, with each hunt remaining in the allotted 250 awarding an additional 1 each, up to a maximum of 10 each in total.
