Overview

The Spooky Aura is an Aura that can be earned during the annual Halloween event.

The Aura duration time stacks, so it would be extended each time the Hunter is granted the Aura.

It is represented by a green skull icon in the upper left of the main trap image on the Camp page.

The Hunter can earn the Spooky Aura by smashing Cursed Skull rewarded from brewing Evil Extract at certain milestones. Smashing each Skull grants 7 days of Aura.

Halloween 2022

The Hunter can earn the Spooky Aura by smashing Cursed Skull rewarded from brewing Evil Extract at certain milestones. Smashing each Skull grants 7 days of Aura.

2021: Master the Magic of the Boiling Cauldrons

The Hunter can earn the Spooky Aura by smashing Cursed Skull rewarded from brewing Evil Extract at certain milestones. Smashing each Skull grants 7 days of Aura.

The Skulls no longer have an expiry date.

2020: The Grand Ghostship Returns!

The Hunter could earn the Spooky Aura by smashing Cursed Skull rewarded from destroying the Grand Ghostship at certain milestones. Smashing each Skull grants 7 days of Aura.

The Spooky Aura's duration time stacks, so the Aura's time would be extended each time the Hunter smashes an additional Skull.

After 3 November 2020, all remaining Skulls automatically crumbled and rewarded the Aura upon the Hunter's first hunt after that day. On 1 December 2020, all Skulls not crumbled yet (by not hunting) were removed from inventory without rewarding the Aura.

2019: Spooky Schnooner's Revenge

The Hunter could earn the Spooky Aura by destroying the Grand Ghostship and then claiming the reward upon reaching certain milestones.

The Spooky Aura's duration time stacks, so the Aura's time will be extended each time the Hunter claims an additional aura reward.

2018: Admiral Arrgh's Revenge

The Hunter could earn the Spooky Aura by destroying ghostships. The Aura duration gained depends on the type of ghostship.

  • The Gnawnian Ghoul: 15 hours
  • The Boney Barge: 16 hours
  • Martial Mayhem: 18 hours
  • The Soul of the Sea: 20 hours
  • The Demon of the Desert: 22 hours
  • The Queasy Queso Cruiser: 23 hours
