==== New Eggs, New Eggs! ====
Use your Dumpling Cheese to attract a whole slew of Lunar New Year mice, including the infamous costumed mice.

There are 11 new eggs for you to find located in the Folklore Forest! Can you collect them all for their bonus loot? Remember, you'll need your trusty Eggscavator to find them so make sure you pick one up before you head out! You can also view all the eggs in the Area Eggs tab within the Eggscavator interface.
These elusive critters will need to be caught in a specific order so once you catch the Costumed Tiger Mouse then you'll be able to attract the Costumed Rabbit Mouse and so on. The final mouse will be the new Costumed Ox Mouse and upon catching this elderly fellow, you'll be rewarded with his Ox Lunar Lantern.

==== Something New: Scavenger-Style Egg Hunts! ====
While hunting with Dumpling Cheese, you'll have undoubtedly picked up quite a few Lunar Lantern Candles by this point. And if you were hunting with the premium Nian Gao'da cheese then you've also likely found some Red Lunar Lantern Candles. Well, now it's time to use them! Once you own the Ox Lunar Lantern, you can begin lighting these candles and reaping their rewards!

This year Lady Laura is selling '''four''' new Scroll Cases that when opened will begin a Scavenger Hunt style hunt for specific eggs! You and up to five other hunters can embark on these special egg hunts to find Treasure Chests loaded with eggciting loot! Find Eggsweeper Shovels, Magical Eggsweeper Fertilizer, Eggstra Fondue, and all kinds of resources and loot to help your hunting endeavours!

But that's not all that these wonderful candles have to offer! While your lantern is lit, it will begin rising up into the air in search of other lucrative rewards. Each hunt you take with the regular candles burning will raise your lantern by one foot and each hunt with the red candles burning will raise your lantern by two feet!
+
As you unlock more shelves at Lady Laura's Shop you'll gain access to more difficult Egg Hunt Scroll Cases requiring increasingly higher title requirements.

Every ten feet that your lantern ascends, you'll receive a '''+1''' Luck bonus to your trap that will apply whenever the candles are burning. The bonus is cumulative so the higher you go, the more luck you'll get!
+
==== The Eggsweeper Mini-Game Has Returned! ====

Every thirty feet that your lantern ascends, you'll receive an extra reward in addition to the +1 Luck and the rewards keep getting better the higher you ascend! Be sure to check out the Heads-Up Display to get a glimpse of all the valuable items that await you along the reward track!
+
'''HOW TO PLAY:''' There are 10 eggs hidden somewhere in the field and you need to reveal them all to earn rank-specific rewards! Each tile you reveal costs 1 Eggsweeper Shovel. When you reveal a tile, you will either be shown a number or an egg. The number shown is a clue representing how many eggs are hidden in nearby tiles (diagonals included). If you reveal an egg, you get a special Eggsweeper Egg added to your inventory based on your hunter title.

====Love is in the Air====
+
These eggs will contain loot appropriate for areas in the Kingdom tied to hunter ranks. This year, the Tier 5 Eggsweeper egg has been updated to '''only''' contain loot for Archduke/ Archduchess hunter ranks. A new Tier 6 Eggsweeper egg has been introduced which contains loot for Viceroy and up hunters!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so from '''February 11 to 16''' you'll occasionally come across some especially amorous mice while hunting. Every so often, after catching one mouse, you'll notice that it wasn't alone! Special Valentine's mice will occasionally appear as bonus hunts after a successful catch! They won't consume any cheese or charms and won't affect area gameplay progression in any way but they will drop some unique Valentine's loot so keep an eye out for these romantic rodents.
+
Interested in lower tiers of loot? Your Hunter's Hammer can be used to carefully chip a layer off an egg to downgrade it a tier. Just remember to swing extra carefully!

 +
For even more eggstraordinary rewards, dust your Eggsweeper field with Magical Fertilizer before you start the mini-game! All the eggs found in a fertilized field will eggsplode with even more amazing loot!

The Spring Egg Hunt Has Begun!

1 April 2025

Eggsperience The Thrill of Egg Hunting!
Eggs, Eggs, Eggs, Galore!

Spring Forward into another Egg-Packed Season!

One of the most time-honoured events has returned to the Kingdom of Gnawnia! Lady Laura is back to grace the Kingdom with her culinary concoction Chocolatonium, the purest form of chocolate. Endulge in Eggstra Fondue, find eggs old & new. There is an abundance of things to find in the Spring Egg Hunt!

To get started, you'll need a special egg-finding piece of equipment: the Eggscavator. If you do not already own one, you can claim one for free from the Spring Egg Hunt heads-up display to start your eggsceptional season!

Spring Mice and Spring Eggs

The Chocolatonium has driven the spring event mice into such a frenzy that you can find these mice EVERYWHERE in the Kingdom! They're so abundant that you do not need special cheese to attract them. In fact, you don't need any cheese at all!

The spring event mice all come exclusively from bonus hunts meaning they'll occasionally wander into your trap without consuming cheese or charms and without affecting any area gameplay progression. The spring mice will always drop Chocolatonium when caught.

Eggstra Fondue: A Returning Decadent Delight!

Eggstra Fondue returns! Activated through the event interface, this luxurious fondue produces Chocolatonium, doubles any eggs dropped, and produces extra Chocolatonium for each egg looted! When paired with the Chocolate Bar Base, it has the rare chance to triple the eggs dropped instead of just doubling them.

Return the Chocolatonium to Lady Laura to unlock the shelves in her Chocolate Shop and she'll show her gratitude by presenting you with special one-time rewards for unlocking each shelf. Once a shelf has been unlocked, you'll be able to purchase the items on that shelf with Chocolatonium anytime during the event.

New Eggs, New Eggs!

Here's a preview of some new eggs you can find:

Something New: Scavenger-Style Egg Hunts!

This year Lady Laura is selling four new Scroll Cases that when opened will begin a Scavenger Hunt style hunt for specific eggs!

Over Hard contains 25

As you unlock more shelves at Lady Laura's Shop you'll gain access to more difficult Egg Hunt Scroll Cases requiring increasingly higher title requirements.

The Eggsweeper Mini-Game Has Returned!

HOW TO PLAY: There are 10 eggs hidden somewhere in the field and you need to reveal them all to earn rank-specific rewards!

Interested in lower tiers of loot? Your Hunter's Hammer can be used to carefully chip a layer off an egg to downgrade it a tier. Just remember to swing extra carefully!
