:If the Monster loot drops I was researching off the wiki is any indicator, I believe the loot is based on a fixed value which scales up according to weight, but on top of which is added a randomizer that will adjust the numbers slightly up or down. Basically, very similar to our King's Rewards which is random but which in general always scales up with rank. -- [[User:Grexx|Grexx]] 17:43, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Relationship of Weight and Loot

It appears that the amounts of cheese Black Widows drop depend on their weight (the more weight, the more cheese).

Most of the time, that is the case, but I've had catches that contradict that statement. The 4 oz. Black Widow I caught dropped fewer SB+ compared to my 3 oz. catch. Also, the difference between the 9 oz. Black Widow I caught and the 7 oz. you caught is just 1 SB+. Makes you kind of wonder how many an 8 oz. would drop. --Mikeyco 17:36, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

If the Monster loot drops I was researching off the wiki is any indicator, I believe the loot is based on a fixed value which scales up according to weight, but on top of which is added a randomizer that will adjust the numbers slightly up or down.
