The Ancient Gauntlet is a limited edition weapon not sold by any Trapsmith. It can only be acquired through the opening of a Season 1 Treasure Chest:

History and Trivia
- 29 August 2012: The Ancient Gauntlet was first introduced.
- 14 January 2014: The Ancient Gauntlet was retired with the introduction of the Season 2 Treasure Chests. Any Season 1 Treasure Chests in a hunter's inventory after 14 January 2014 still have a chance of containing the Ancient Gauntlet trap.
