The Spring Egg Hunt will end on Tuesday, May 5.
Spring is here again, and the King has ordered the Chocolate Factory back to full production. And we have more than enough paint this year!'
'And yet something's not quite right... No matter how many eggs are produced, none can be found! To complicate matters, a frightening new mouse has been seen prowling around with a confusing contraption. It's time for hunters to investigate!
Description and Requirements
The Chocolate Factory is a special location for the Spring Egg Hunt 2015. It requires a minimum rank of Recruit to enter. Mice are unable to steal gold or points in this location but may steal cheese if not caught.
Initially, hunters are presented with a Heads-up Display with 10 fuzzy egg images, and a message that the Eggscavator needs recalibration. After a hunter collects 9 eggs, the Chocolate Gold Foil Mouse becomes available, allowing the hunter to collect the final Golden Egg and finish the recalibration, with the following message left in the Hunter's Journal:
- That's the last egg!
- Now that I've recalibrated my Eggscavator, I will be able to hunt hidden eggs all across Gnawnia!
- I can now use Eggscavator Charge Charms to charge my Eggscavator for a chance to gather new Low, Medium, and High Charge eggs from mice. The higher the charge, the better the Charge Egg!

Hunting Strategy
Calibrating the Eggscavator
Hunters can track their progress in calibrating the Eggscavator using the HUD in the Chocolate Factory.
Hunters must recover 10 Basic Eggs to recalibrate their Eggscavator.
- Hunting without Dark Chocolate Charms
- Hunt with Standard Cheese to attract mice that drop Marshmallow Monterey as loot.
- Hunt with Marshmallow Monterey to attract the Egg Painter Mouse which drops the first 9 Basic Eggs.
- Once the first 9 Basic Eggs are recovered, hunters will be able to attract the Chocolate Gold Foil Mouse which drops the Golden Egg and finishes the recalibration process.
- Hunting with Dark Chocolate Charms
- Hunt with Standard Cheese to attract mice that drop Marshmallow Monterey as loot.
- Hunt with SUPER|brie+ to attract the Balack's Cove Lich Mice which drop large amounts of Marshmallow Monterey.
- Hunt with Marshmallow Monterey to attract the Sinister Egg Painter Mouse which drops the first 9 Basic Eggs.
- Once the first 9 Basic Eggs are recovered, hunters will be able to attract the Chocolate Gold Foil Mouse which drops the Golden Egg and finishes the recalibration process.
Now that the Eggscavator is recalibrated, Hunters will be able to recover Eggs throughout the Kingdom!
Charging the Eggscavator
Hunters can track their progress in charging the Eggscavator using the HUD.
Hunters can charge the Eggscavator by hunting with Eggscavator Charge Charms or Eggstra Charge Charms anywhere in the Kingdom.
- Each successful catch adds 1 unit of charge to the Eggscavator.
- 1 unit of charge is lost for each successful catch made without an Eggscavator Charge Charm or Eggstra Charge Charm equipped.
Mice drop Low Charge Eggs, Medium Charge Eggs, or High Charge Eggs based on the level of charge available on the Eggscavator.
Hunting Tips By Larry
The Chocolate Factory is open again, and this time the eggs being produced are at the request of the King! The unfortunate part is that the Eggscavator is unable to pick up the frequencies of the eggs being produced!
Maybe... I know! Track down the original 10 eggs in the factory in order to re-tune the Eggscavator! Hopefully with careful calibration, the Eggscavator can pick up the scent of the eggs again so that hunters can find and complete their collections!
Good luck and get crackin'!
