- 10 February 2009: The Obelisk of Incineration Trap was introduced along with the Hunter's Hammer.
- The Obelisk of Incineration Trap was the first crafted Arcane type weapon to be released.
- 22 March 2022: The Obelisk of Incineration Trap became available in some Trapsmith with the Shops Infrastructure Overhaul update.
- 17 May 2022: With the removal of its blueprints, the Obelisk of Incineration Trap can no longer be crafted.
