Special Event Mice are mice that can only be found and caught during certain periods:
- Birthday Mouse – Released during MouseHunt's Birthday Giveaway in 2009.
- Candy Cane Mouse - Released for the Great Winter Huntin 2009.
- Christmas Tree Mouse - Released for the Great Winter Huntin 2009.
- Cupid Mouse – Released for the Valentine's Giveaway in 2009.
- Elf Mouse – Released around Christmas.
- Glitchpaw Mouse – Released on April Fool's Day in 2009, and after every unexpected downtime since then.
- Hollowhead Mouse – Released first during the Haunted Givaway, now it is released around Halloween.
- Leprechaun Mouse - Released in 2008, it was the first prize mouse and is recognized as the rarest mouse in MouseHunt.
