Overview
During the Spring Egg Hunt, Hunters can encounter mice throughout the Kingdom that drop colorful Eggs. These Eggs can contain cheeses, charms, crafting items, collectibles, and trap skins. Hunters will need an Eggscavator if they wish to find Eggs as loot, which can be claimed through the HUD for free or dropped by Eggscavator Mouse.
A merchant, Lady Laura, has arrived in the Kingdom of Gnawnia. Her Chocolate Shop offers items for sale during the Spring Egg Hunt. Hunters wishing to purchase these items should collect Chocolatonium as loot from Spring Egg Hunt Mice.
Charm Shoppe
All locations include a Charm Shoppe offering conversion of retired items from previous Spring Egg Hunt events into Spring Egg Hunt charms.
Item | Cost Per Piece |
---|---|

If the Hunter doesn't have the Eggscavator in the inventory yet, there is a button where they can claim it. Clicking it will award the item and generate a journal entry:

- With this amazing egg-detecting tool, you'll be able to find hidden eggs across all of Gnawnia!
- Time to get cracking on finding those eggs! It's no yolk, there's no time to lose!
The Hunter's current stock of Chocolatonium is tracked on the left part of the HUD. The Chocolate Shop button below that can be clicked to open the Chocolate Shop pop-up.
The items in the Chocolate Shop are divided into five separate shelves, which are locked away from Hunters initially. Hunters must obtain and return Chocolatonium to Lady Laura to unlock the shelves and purchase these items. Shelves can only be unlocked from top to bottom: the top-most shelf must be unlocked first while the bottom-most shelf will be unlocked last. Upon unlocking each shelf, Hunters will obtain a one-time reward.

Eggsweeper
In the bottom right part of the HUD, the Hunter's current stock of Eggsweeper Shovels is tracked. Clicking on it allows the Hunter to access the Eggsweeper mini-game. At the start of a new board, the Hunter has the option to either play a normal board for 10 Small Eggsweeper Eggs or to use a Magical Eggsweeper Fertilizer to play a deluxe board for 9 Large Eggsweeper Eggs and 1 Magical Eggsweeper Egg.
In an Eggsweeper game, the Hunter is presented with a 9 by 6 Eggsweeper board. The Hunter is tasked with tracking down 10 Eggsweeper Eggs that have been randomly hidden within the tiles of the board. On the right-hand side, the Hunter can toggle between Dig Mode (by clicking the shovel; the board turns green) and Flag Mode (by clicking the flag; the board turns orange). Pressing 'F' allows the Hunter to quickly toggle between Dig Mode and Flag Mode.
Dig Mode
In this mode, the Hunter uses 1 Eggsweeper Shovel to test for the presence of an Eggsweeper Egg by clicking on any tile:
- If the Hunter succeeds, 1 Eggsweeper Egg is added to the Hunter's inventory and the image of an Eggsweeper Egg appears in the tile the Hunter picked.
- If the Hunter fails, a number showing the number of Eggsweeper Eggs in neighboring tiles appears in the tile the Hunter picked. If the Hunter has picked a tile without any Eggsweeper Egg in both the tile itself and the neighboring tiles, the number 0 appears in the tile the Hunter picked and all neighboring tiles get marked with an image of a cross over an egg. All marked tiles can no longer be picked by the Hunter for testing henceforth.
Flag Mode
In this mode, the Hunter can place flags on tiles which the Hunter believes there are no Eggsweeper Eggs. There are no restrictions on the number of flags that can be placed and the Hunter is allowed to remove any flag as they wish. An option is provided in the Clear Flags button to remove all placed flags at once.
The Eggsweeper game ends when all 10 Eggsweeper Eggs have been tracked down and the Hunter is then prompted to choose a normal board or a luxury board for the next game.
