Special event mice

Special Event Mice are mice that can only be found and caught during certain periods:
- Birthday Mouse – Released during MouseHunt's Birthday Giveaway in 2009.
- Candy Cane Mouse - Released for the Great Winter Hunt in 2009.
- Christmas Tree Mouse - Released for the Great Winter Hunt in 2009.
- Cupid Mouse – Released for the Valentine's Giveaway in 2009.
- Elf Mouse – Released around Christmas.
- Glitchpaw Mouse – Released on April Fool's Day in 2009, and after every unexpected downtime since then.
- Hollowhead Mouse – Released first during the Haunted Givaway, now it is released around Halloween.
- Leprechaun Mouse - Released in 2008, it was the first prize mouse and is recognized as the rarest mouse in MouseHunt.
- Master Burglar Mouse - Released during $2,500 Tuesday when it stole the King of Gnawnia's crown. Amy White is the only hunter to have caught one, and it is unknown if it will be released again.
- Mobster Mouse - Released in 2008 to replace the iTunes Mouse, 100 are released daily with cash prizes and SUPER|brie+.
- Nutcracker Mouse - Released for the the Great Winter Huntin 2009.
- Ornament Mouse - Released for the the Great Winter Huntin 2009.
- Present Mouse - Released for the the Great Winter Huntin 2009.
- Rockstar Mouse - Released during Ronza's Rockin Return in 2009. It was formerly the iTunes Mouse.
- Scrooge Mouse - Released for the the Great Winter Hunt in 2009.
- Stocking Mouse - Released for the the Great Winter Hunt in 2009.
