- "Gifting" redirects here. For more uses, see Gifting Trap.
Gifting was first introduced during the Halloween Trick AND Treat event in 2010 and allows Hunters to send free gifts to friends. This should not be confused with the gifts from the Festive Gift Shoppe, where hunters buy gifts to send, nor the transfer of supplies via the Give To Friends option.
The number of gifts to select from can vary from 4 to 9; one is a "Gift of the Day" which changes daily, the others are standard and can be cheese, collectibles or crafting items. It can be accessed by clicking the GIFT icon at the top of the page, or by going to this link. Unclaimed gifts expire after 7 days.
During certain Events, this page also hosts the Paid Gift Shoppe, where hunters can use MouseHunt Gold to buy an unlimited number of gifts with no expiration on claiming them.
Limits
Hunters can only receive (claim) 10 gifts and send 15 gifts each day, regardless of rank. They must be of a minimum rank of Master to send Stale Cheese and Radioactive Sludge.
During the Great Winter Hunt 2013, a hunter that reached the Festive Tavern level 3 upgrade could claim 15 daily gifts instead of 10.

The possible standard items for gifting:
- 5 Mozzarella cheese (Novice and above)
